Thanks for making these helpful short overview videos, as well as the longer in-depth ones. Just what I was looking for.
So helpful as always! Thanks for the helpful tips and for keeping things light and interesting. 😄
Thanks! I started to learn Davinci Resolve and your are one one of my favorites. Today I will be getting my activation card for Davinci Studio ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
They should include your videos as the official documentation. Seriously. I've been sitting in front of DaVinci Resolve for ages and I just couldn't figure shit out. Now that I watch your stuff, I can actually do SOMETHING.
THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!!! This was so quick and easy.. I love your efficient approach to tutorials!
Love the format size! no blah blah just get to the point in 5 mins! real time saver :)

Nice because it is quick, simple and clear with good examples of what is being done and how to do it.
Just what I needed! Nice and clear and quick! Thanks :)
Thanks Casey for being informative but also short and to the point. like your humor too.

In the cuting right now, thank you for good tips!
Hi Casey. Great video as per usual. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to send my appreciation for the great informative and funny content. It goes without saying the production of your content is top drawer but the personality you bring to the videos makes them very easy to watch. I trust you and yours are well and keeping safe during these difficult times. Cheers. Dave
THANK YOU, probably not a single irrelevant piece of information in this vid
Nice tuts. quick and easy to grasp
This was awesome! Thank you so much.
Bite size tutorials are very convenient. Thanks.
Super helpful. Thanks for posting.
great video! very helpful. that sync/source overwrite feature is amazing, had no idea you could do that!
Heh...I was about to jump into doing a nasty long edit and thought 'let me see if someone has a quick intro to this cut page I keep skipping past'. in 5 mins you not only have saved me probably an hour, but also inpsired me to try multicam on my next project because that demo was a-mazing! Also I love your presentation style. Well done subscribed and will take time to watch your other videos soon as I can! Huge thanks for the work on this one
That multicam thing is a goldmine
I spoke too soon, it doesn't seem to work for me. I've got two pieces of video and an audio file; The sync panel works great. When I add any of it to the cut page the source overwrite button does nothing. I can't drag the audio in either, let alone get it in position. I wonder if it's trying to sync based on timecode despite the clips being synced by audio...
*edit* found a small workaround, once I went to the EDIT tab, there was a 'Media Sync' item that appeared in the pool which somehow isn't visible in the cut page. Dragging that got all my stuff onto the edit page. Then I had to untick the lock to be able to actually edit.
This was incredibly helpful thank you!!
Liking Davinci more and more - thanks for the vid!
Thank you! I love your presentation way, good job!
That was brilliant! Exactly what I was looking for and the presentation was top notch, great style
sync looks really cool, thanks!
Brilliant, Casey. Love it, thanks :-) Had no idea why I would want to use the cut page (I started with DaVinci when the cut page did not exist and got used to the edit page), but the multicam section really convinced me to take a better look at the cut page. Love your videos, Stephan
Really useful. Thank you!
This is one of the best tutorial of davinci resolve cut page. very quick and efficient
omg nice thank you!!! saving up SO MUCH TIME now. Amazing
Thank you, this was great!
You SAVED me. Thank you!
Had no idea why I needed that tab, sync was it for me though. That was gold.
Thanks man, great video!
took me a while to get the hang of chairs tbh
I think I need a 5-minute video to figure out that one too
Fantastic thank you. Learning this on the fly so I can better coordinate with our colorist. Much appreciated.

Thanks man, I learned all the things I knew in Premiere Pro to do in Davinci as well from your videos in like 2 weeks. Also, I am 5x faster now with my workflow.
Wow. Amazing video. Learnt so much in just 5 mins. Also your humour and the way you speak kind of reminds me of Andy Bernard from the office. Loved it 😂
Sick tut bro!
Wasn't really sold on the cut page until you showed the multicam feature with sync--that's pretty cool!
thank you
Thank you for magic!
thank! 👍
Thanks
Man. If I had known about that Sync Clips button it would have saved me HOURS of time on certain projects.
Awesomeness !!!
Thankyou :)
Good sense of humor
Superb.
Great videos Casey, new to Davinci and have learned A BUNCH . please advice, how can I do noise reduction and sharpening in Davinci.
Thanks for your videos I use resolve
Your tutorials are super awesome. When running Davinci on a Mac, which codec runs most most smooth, prores or another?
You know what?!!111 You rock!
Could you do a tutorial on how to do an effect similar to the one you used at 1:02? That would be very helpful just like this tutorial was :)
good video !!
'I've used chairs before' ‡ TY for that, big LOL! Great video
Hey, Casey! I have a request, assuming you don't already have a video. You able to make a quick video discussing the V1 an A1 "buttons" in the edit page and how they relate to dragging content onto the timeline? I seem to struggle with this sometimes when i have multiple layers, and sometimes audio tries to overwrite existing audio instead of going to its own layer. I think these buttons and my lack of understanding are to blame
Your too cute man! 😂 Thank you for this demo. God bless you and your family. 😊🙏🏻❤
I did care, and didn’t even know it. Now I do. thanks
Watched at 1.75 speed. This is amazing!
I love the awkward way you start your videos. Kinda your signature
The Multi-cam part is nice 👍 Other than that I am not sold on why it's another tab. IMO it would make more sense to combine the 2. 🤷♂
Casey, I was intrigued by the "sync clips" idea, but it still doesn't quite help me with my (maybe unique?) workflow issue.
I use OBS to capture my screen AND the audio from my professional mic.
I use an a7iii for my headshot, and although it picks up my voice, I don't use that audio.
So when I'm editing, I need to sync both video files first (I clap my hands at the start of each recording to assist on this front), and then editing BOTH clips simultaneously (using the edit page) so as to keep them in sync.
Is there a way to do this in the Cut page? To cut both files simultaneously?
Thanks for all your epic videos.
Hi Casey, great videos, congrats. Just subbed. One question: I have a project for which I created SRT subtitles, but this track does not show on the cut page, only on the edit page. The subtitles appear on the viewer, but the tracks do not show, both in the zoomed-in or zoomed-out timelines. Any ideas? Thanks
Fell swoop
Really helpful Casey thanks. Any chance you can update it for 18.5? The buttons are a bit different now and there are new features.
You are hilarious, thanks for the laughs and the information..
AWSOME
