Man that’s a tough and noisy way to make a living. Back in the day when most workshops only had stick or oxy acetylene welding it was mesmerising to watch the old guys using the oxy. They could oxy weld aluminium and it looked more like tig welding and they could fuse weld sheet metal at a rapid rate. Watching them cut thick plate was also just as interesting as the finished cut needed very little clean up. I’ve tried cutting with the oxy and it looked like I had used an axe. What a mess. Those skills, along with the men that had them, seem to have died out in the west now that more modern equipment has become affordable. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺

Yes you are right there are lot of many Technologies and modern equipments are available. But in underdeveloped countries these equipments are costly and due to less knowledge people don't know how to use these modern machines.

In the start I thought it was steel and soon as he started to braze weld I knew straight away it was aluminium. Good work for competing the pot. We all take it for granted when we buy a mass produced pot and don’t think of the hard work it actually takes to hand make a custom one. The world could fall apart and these guys will keep on doing their craft while we don’t know what to do with ourselves.
