Ave Virgo Virginum (Come, ye faithful, raise the strain) in G. Descant by John Ross

This beautiful Easter hymn with words by John Mason Neale first appeared in the "Christian Remembrancer" (April, 1859). Since then it has retained its popularity, linked with "Ave Virgo Virginum" or "Gaudeamus Paritur", a tune first found in "Medieval Bohemian Carol Melody", 1544.
