  • The Eyo Festival, otherwise known as the Adamu Orisa Play is the TRADITIONAL PLAY OF LAGOS. It is a day's festival staged for the Final Burial Obsequies of an Oba or a Chief, and in honor and memory of a Deceased person who had contributed to the progress and Development of Lagos; hence the play is not staged for any less important event.
    Lagosians most respectable and symbolic festival, Adamu Orisa Play otherwise known as Eyo will troupe out the streets of Lagos Island, popularly called Eko in the hinterland of Lagos
    The Eyo Festival, otherwise known as the Adamu Orisha Play, is a Yoruba festival unique to Lagos, Nigeria. In modern times, it is presented by the people of Lagos as a tourist event and, due to its history, is traditionally performed on Lagos Island.

    Eyo are the ancestral masquerade of the Yoruba people.one of our Tradition in yoruba land,i am happy to be a yoruba in my dna.

    Es un Orisa que se podria decir que es exclusivo de Lagos, sale en ceremonias de entierro mas o menos. No tengo mas informacion...lo siento
