    Funny you watch top level players videos and almost all of them mention 4 people; Tony, Doc, Clarence and Norman.

      Rarely does Don Reno get mentioned - but he's the man who brought hot fiddle-style flatpicking into bluegrass - in 1957!
      Here's 'Country Boy Rock 'n' Roll'; as far as I know this was the first bluegrass recording featuring this style:
