@dntpay4sftware awh I see. Well thanks for the input. I like learning about the music from the generation that lived it. Truth be told this generation was before mine and i'm just dwelling in the archives... youtube is sick ! Seems like a lot of this dope music would be extremely hard to find and even lost without youtube.
voyage was like november 98, so i guess this could of been same year. remember getting that album and listening to it repeatedly every day for like a month. so sick.
@LeonPhythian69 damn man that's deep... don't know if I want to personally try and dwell that deep over all of it, but more power to you. Jk though, I feel what your saying though bro... I'm on your level, cause what ever it is people call it, it only matters if you dig it. Good health to you brother.
@dntpay4sftware Your right about Dragon Fly Records being considered a pystrance label, although Dragon Fly Records came out in the early 90's and included groups like The Infinity Project, which is not pystrance... but definitely Goatrance. With that, I'll have to disagree about Goa being faster let alone "much faster". Every bit of psytrance Ive heard sounds waay faster- especially the underline tempo. Goa definitely has that old white tripper feel to it though. Let me know what you think.
@ItsFunkyEnough I'll tell ya what think!...music is music!...if it make's feel better to categorise into tiny boxes in order for us to feel better about ourselves and our knowledge , then this is all good , but as a musician am pretty sure I wouldn't like someone to me into a box...fuck your boxes if that makes you feel happy then fair play and much love
Brilliant! 'Nuff said!!!!!!
This was one of the first Goa Trance tracks I heard... It blew me away and sparked my inner flame.
Very dark and trippy - one of my early favourites

Just looked it up, released 1997, i was thinking of Voyage Into Trance mixed by just Oakenfold. Both awesome albums.
