Csejthe is pronounced Ksech and is the castle in modern day Slovakia where a certain Countess Bathory gained notoriety. The title of their album translates as Death of the Black Prince. Remember hearing Odium and Midvinter ages ago and didn't give either much thought at the time. Definitely in need of a revisit to see if the opinion has changed over the decades. Wonderful collection by the way.

Great collection update. I liked the new Goatblood but yeah it was short for an album. Azgorh with Black Funeral is amazing, all the stuff they did is awesome. have you ever liked a Noise release? I liked some songs but its not for me.

Last nigh I was listening to some metal internet radio and I discovered a kind of melody that I have never heard before in Black metal where it was mixed with some synth gothic or something and riffs and vocals are a little sunk and piano sounds are more upfront.I thought It was some obscure 90s stuff but not...Its new stuff from 2021 ! and its a band called "Midnight Betrothed -A snow crested heart (song)" ..you should check out and possibly give some thoughts? Thanks.
If you like Totale Vernichtung, you should hear Rostorchester, too. He is the same guy, together with Herr Greif from Eisenwinter. Same insane riffs and guitartone. Especially the Verdorbenheit LP.

I think I'll do the same trick on my copy of Eternal Strife as you did with yours. Have you checked out Wolfspirit? Consists of Widar (Bilskirnir) and Raborym (Dark Fury).

lol I got that same Ary*n Blood slipcase in my order from Northern Heritage and it pissed me off too. Think I might try that fix you gave it with the jewelcase. I could do it to my Son of the Northwind slipcase too.

Emperor albums never really clicked with me. My favorite song from In The Nightside Eclipse is A Fine Day to Die, that says it I guess. But Ill give a shot to Odium.

Not really, they get a lot of banned stuff in stock though especially from euro distros. Depends on what you are looking for in particular?

Emperor Demo and MLP are their best work. In The Nightside Eclipse is great, but the earlier stuff is far better

Anthems is my favorite haha everything after I dont give a shit about. Still though, there are so many other bands like Emperor that do that style better, like Vargrav for example or Alghazanth.
