  • Blade Review "XVT ARCHER B CARBON"
Don't be deceived on the looks of the XVT ARCHER B CARBON, it may seem not as the best looking blade in the market, but it can perform really well!
Be reminded also that I use soft and control rubbers in the video so I can consistently give a good review of the blade. (Forehand Rubber - Yinhe D9000, and Backhand Rubber Yinhe Mercury ll)
Its weight is around 90+ grams without rubbers. Its thickness is 6.5mm w/o rubbers and with rubbers attach to it 13.8mm, but depends on the thickness of the rubber, this review I used 2.2mm rubbers on both sides
    1. DRILLING/ COUNTER
On the slow counter, you need to push a little since its speed is around OFF - to OFF, and since I am using control soft rubbers, the throw angle is a little bit low around 36 - 38degress
At much higher speed counter you will have no problem putting the ball on the other side of the table since the blades speed is not to slow
    2. TOPSPIN:
On controlled topspin, the ball is in a low-medium arc landing on the middle of the table, I notice that when I do topspin far from the table I needed to put extra power for it to consistently enter the opponents side, again one of the factors is the control rubbers I used for this review, if we will change the rubbers to more speed rubbers like tensor rubbers, efforts for topspins will lessen
So I advise that you use this blade on close the table, up to the middle distance, for you to do your topspin easily.
    3. COUNTER TOPSPIN:
Easy to play counter topspins both close to the table and at mid-distance, but its hard to play counter topspins far away from the table
    4. BLOCK/ BLOCKING:
Easy to block since the blade is not too fast. You can control easily the placement of your block, which will be an advantage to the aggressive type of opponents
    5. SERVICE:
With the proper skill on how to serve effectively XVT Archer B is easy to use on services, you can feel the amount of rotation you made on your service, because of the good feeling of the blade
    CONCLUSION:
This XVT ARCHER B Carbon blade is very easy to play and very good for close to the table up to mid-distance play
It is good for beginners and intermediate players who are beginning to master their skills and techniques on playing, I would not suggest it advance players because of the lack of speed needed to do advanced skills like power spins and counter topspin far off the table
With its price, you would not regret using these blade! and with the right rubbers, it can be a deadly setup, my advice is to use hard/tacky rubber on the forehand side to generate more spin on the ball during attacks and service and soft rubber on the backhand side for control and placement during rallies.
