    Great video !
    For the sake of comparison with traditional e-kits, I would have loved to hear the « unplugged » sound.

      if you've played a mesh-head E-kit, you've played a jobeky. i owned a jobeky for a while and it was a good kit, virtually silent drums. you can tune the heads to you own feel. havent played the cymbals but i've played low-volume cymbals and the volume is cut down by about 80%.

    I have had my kit for almost 3 months. Same as this except I went for the half shell sized kit with a few customization. Jane is super helpful. The drums are from China and Jobeky adds triggers, wraps, and tweeks them from there. I'm fine with it. Makes no sense to have a rare maple kit made by Sonar or DW to deaden it it with triggers, mesh heads and whatever else. Either way the quality of the drums themselves is very solid. Triggers they do are awesome. When you order your kit, simply let them know what module you will be using and they will tell you all the settings to dial it in. Best way to get in touch i found is through Facebook. I am really happy with my kit and have no worries about taking this out to gig with. It's solid and looks great. Took almost exactly 8 weeks to get my kit.

      Do you have any hotspotting with the Toms and Snare? Considering switching over from Roland PD105s and PD125s because the hotspotting drives me crazy!

      Hi Jack amen to that! Diamond make great acoustic conversion edrums for sure, even only owning a second hand Diamond kit, Dave (Diamond owner/founder) treated me like a new customer when I enquired about a few small parts that needed replacing (bass drum claw/lug inserts etc) Super responsive and super eager to make sure I'm sorted, now that's customer service.... If you're interested in how Diamond drums play, there's some videos on my page, Best, David

    They seem to put out "good" quality kits at very reasonable pricing. I have heard some issues around quality control and time for delivery as they are a very small company. That said, I've also heard that the husband and wife team (I think) are very solid people. I've considered their cymbals for my Muzzio MX kit but haven't yet decided if full metal will be better than the rubber ATV and Roland cymbals I now use. Thx for the vid, always enjoy your stuff

    • @DonaldMcDade
      @DonaldMcDade Před 4 lety +1

      They put out excellent quality kits my friend. I've had mine for just a year now with no issues. It triggers great once modules are setup and adjusted. The kits typically ship in 8-10 weeks and cymbals in 6 to 8, this is stated on their website but sometimes delays do happen. I do know they had shipped a lot of kits in 2019 and there was a backlog and delays, but hell, they're 3 people with their daughter now. Also, everything is made to order. I had a buddy who ordered a custom snare from Sonor and waited 9 months for it to ship.Anyhow, not ragging on your response, just giving my personal experience with them as a company.

    I heard a lot of good reviews about this company! I am in need for a pro solution for e drums and cymbals , these drums look absolutely fantastic! But can anyone tell me how does the cymbals feel? I need it to be spot on! The only person I could find that had Jobeky cymbals in my country said they were not accurate in triggering. But the net is full of good reviews, so what can can you tell me? 🤓

    Great review! I have a Jobeky and love it! This is why Jobeky are a market leader over others as they cover all aspects of electric drumming gear and listen to what drummers want. My kit is made to highest standard with no issues and triggering is just awesome! I would highly recommend over any other custom electronic drum builder's

      Bear, I am interested in this kit. Do you ever experience mis-triggering on the ride cymbal or hi-hats?. Have you experienced any hot spotting? How sensitive is the snare? Thanks for any additional insight. What module are you using?

    One word: Studio. Anything electronic is a dice throw for live use. Something goes out mid set and you’re hosed. I wouldn’t risk it live, but for studio use this would be great.
    Ditch those cymbals though. They’re horrible.
