"It's harder when you're lit, it's litter when you're hard"
-Julien Solomita
Julien: are you proud of me?
Jenna: I did. 😎
I just got to that part so I came here for this comment. YES! I'm 2 years late but whatev.
Not even "its me, debbie" but "its me, the debbie machine" lol!!
An Introverts Paradise in love ur user name😄 automatically gonna suscribe
Bro, I listen to your podcasts every night before I go to sleep. It makes me feel more comfortable listening to people talk as I drift to sleep. Right when I hit the moment I'm almost completely asleep Jenna screams and I thought someone broke into my house and my mom was screaming. Thanks for the heart attack 😂. I had to go back a few minutes just to reassure myself that scream came from the podcast, not my house.
(If Julien were to read this relatable ass comment) "Oh did you think someone was going to break in? I have a solution have you hear of Ring?"
Julien: “not drunk cast, tipsy cast....”
*titles the podcast “Drunk Cast”*
My FAVORITE is when Julien goes "Ohhhh" like he finally gets it and then just name drops the most RANDOM, ridiculous person and makes Jenna die laughing hahahaha
Julien went from tipsy to pretty drunk realllll quick omg wtf
+Caitlin Rooney they were drinking before filming this podcast. alcohol tends to be at a low level, then spike a half hour to an hour after consumption, and then level out and lower. it makes sense that he got more drunk as the podcast went on.
court kendell you're kind of off. it doesn't take that long for the peak. I wouldn't even hit that if I was drinking like them, I'd be tipsy for like 5 minutes a sip.
"Totally heterosexual friends from Sesame Street, with eyebrows."
Jenna: “What’s a Tibetan hairy cow?”
Julien: “Tiger.”
I’m crying 😂
Jenna - “I’m a child”
*Jenna screams*
I have never heard an adult woman scream a high pitched in my life lol
"Charlie Sheen driving a.......Lamborghiiinnnnn...."
I haven't even gotten to that part yet and I already know Jenna said that and not Julie 😂
Julien: "Tweedle fonz won bronze"
Jenna: "we'll give it to you"
😂😂😂😁😀😄
Jenna and Julien, I think you would both really enjoy the game Super Fight. It's like a cross between Cards Against Humanity and the verbal game we'd play as kids arguing who would win in a fight (Batman vs. Superman, etc.). Thanks for making me laugh with all your videos, keep up the dink work!
"are you proud of me?" "... I did." lmaooooo Julien I saw your "Jim from The Office" look at the camera there. I'm dying
my aunt has celiac and we went out to eat and she was asking to make sure that there was no gluten in the food. The waiter said "wow you must be taking this gluten thing really seriously". my aunt explained she was celiac and the waiter went quiet
One, that’s rude they said that and two, good they shut up lmao. I’m sure your aunts deals with that a lot unfortunately.
I understand the frustration with having Celiac Disease and having it be sort of trivialized by people who have self-diagnosed as gluten sensitive. My son has Celiac, and we both have to deal with the school, restaurants and especially his friends parents who roll their eyes and try to say "oh everyone thinks they're sensitive to gluten" Most of the time he has to take food with him because people just don't understand how sick he will get! BTW Julien, my son enjoys watching your vlogs and when he was diagnosed he thought about how you manage your Celiac so well, and realized that it doesn't have to stop him from going anywhere or doing anything!
That is awesome that he has someone to look up to! The hustle of being a kid with a dietary restriction is tough and I feel for him.
It's because the gluten free fad movement made gluten free a joke. Most people have never heard of celiac disease, so they have no idea that gluten free has to do with people who have celiac disease. Gluten free became a popular diet among celebrities which made it popular with the masses. In one way it was a good thing because more companies saw a prophet and decided to make gluten free items which is nice for people with celiac disease to have more options....But on the other hand it made it a joke with people who just saw gluten free as a fad, not knowing there is a real disease out there and people cannot eat gluten or they will get deathly ill.
+Kimmy Starr right but I think it is wrong to blame non-celiacs who don't eat gluten. I feel like people should have a choice in what they eat. It is shady to say you have an allergy when you don't but I don't see it as being as terrible as others do. What I don't respect is people who won't prepare food as they were asked because they think someone is lying. First, humans are horrible at detecting deception. But second, I don't understand how someone could feel ok with lying about how food was prepared. Right?
'Julien sucks at celeberty trivia' is definitely one of my favorite podcasts that you guys have done. I laughed my fucking head of because Julien kept mixing up Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts haha
Ugh me too! Mainly because I finally found someone else who also mixes Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts up!!
"it's me, the debbie machine!"
Today is my 21st birthday and you guys upload a "drunk-cast"...
did we just become best friends?!?!
"Santa Claus is watching fucking shark week" - Jenna
That's the day the music died. It's okay, Jenna. *whispers* It's okay....
"It's harder when you're lit, it's litter when you're har.....uh uh okay"
😂😂😂
Did Julien get more drunk just by breathing bc homie is toasted by 20:00
Right!? He legit took like one sip the whole time but steady was getting more fucked up! Lol
I like how Julien was rambling so we wouldn't hear Jenna pee 😂
Cards Against Humanity is a lot more fun when you have a bunch of the expansion packs. The 90's pack is hilarious
carliemichelle19 along with playing it with a bunch of people that you love
It really depends on who you play with... It's always hilarious with my in-laws because they'll all WILD.
when he was talking about people being like, "omg I have celiac disease too!" when they really really don't, it reminds me of when people are like, "omg I am sooooo bipolar, I was in a good mood this morning and now i'm in a bad mood" -_- hahaha
Julien-"Are you proud of me?"
Jenna-"I did."
😂😂😂😂😂
referring to the gluten conversation: people do the same thing with mental disorders and it's a huge problem.
Commenting 3 years later but.... It's worse when lazy doctors "diagnose" people with depression just because that's what the patient wants... I hate when these people then use depression or anxiety as an excuse for being lazy or just getting out of something they don't want to do. It trivializes the illness.
Just like the other two replies, I am also 3 years late, but I feel this so much as someone with ADHD!! I also have family with anxiety and OCD, and I've been arguing against people using those terms incorrectly for basically my whole life. It's not funny or cute it's harmful as hell and just completely wrong.
I feel like this mindset can be somewhat dangerous though, like I get where you're coming from and people trivializing mental or physical illnesses is obviously terrible, but I feel like this easily translates to 'oh, your not depressed/anxious/sick enough' and it kind of creates a kind of pissing contest. Environments like that, where people are shamed for not having the absolute worst version of an illness, make it really hard for people to seek out help. It can make people feel invalid or like imposters because they were told their case wasn't bad enough. Once again, people shouldn't lie about having illnesses or anything like that, but immediately assuming that someone is lying because they may have a mild case of hide it well is damaging too. It's important to remember that no issue exists in a vacuum and any ultimatum you create about this issue will inevitably have an affect on others who may not be lying.
@@corvidae2741 Oh no no, I definitely see where you're coming from and that's not what I mean at all! There's a difference between someone thinking they may have it or having mild symptoms and referencing it, vs someone who is definitely neurotypical using it as a joke. Saying things like, "I'm so OCD lol i have to keep my paper straight on the table," or "I'm so ADHD 🤪SQUIRREL" or using the word "triggered" incorrectly. I know what you're saying, but it's pretty easy to tell if someone is making a joke out of pocket vs. when they're genuinely joking about their own symptoms. I also don't really blame neurotypical people who do this! A lot of the time, it's an issue of people not even realizing they're being harmful, because there isn't enough representation or information about mental illness/disability in popular media. Neuro divergent people (not that I'm assuming you aren't one of us, of course 💛) universally have to deal with misuse of terms and assumptions and misunderstandings while they're growing up, which I certainly did all my life. I'm an artist and I make a lot of content about ADHD, so sometimes I'll get people who come to me saying that they relate to my content and they're wondering if they have ADHD. That's a good thing to wonder! And it's common for adults with ADHD to go undiagnosed, since it's fairly recent that it's been more understood and diagnosed correctly (in the past, it was frequently mistaken for Autism since they often manifest similarly). I ALWAYS encourage people to go talk to a therapist and see if they can get an official diagnosis.
(...Also, I'm sorry for the super long-winded response, my ADHD ass is incapable of explaining things without diverging into multiple paragraphs LOL)
@@PygmyGoat3 yeah that's totally fair, thanks for expanding on the idea😄💛
the thing that u were saying about celiac is like ppl saying "i'm so ocd!!1!1!1!"
Tiffany, when people say they're depressed, they can do so without having clinical depression because depression is an emotion. It's different from saying "I'm so ocd!"
+Jordan Horne Depression isn't an emotion. Sadness is an emotion. Depression is a really shitty illness.
as someone who has depression, the words sad and depressed aren't interchangeable
usually with other CZcamsrs, I get annoyed and pissed off with their sponsorships, but on this fucking podcast who can be angry Juliet is so fucking slick hahahaha 😂😂😂
This podcast made me so happy, I love you guys
Food allergies and food related diseases are no joke and I'm glad Julien brought that up. I remember trying to explain my uncommon food allergy to adults when I was a kid and them not believing me and trying to correct me. I just feel like you should take people at their word when they say they have a food allergy even if you think they are making it up. Especially a kid though because trying to be an articulate seven year old is tough!
+AdorkableGurl to be fair, my mom helped me a lot by having me memorize and recite a speech lol. So I could rattle off something articulate to start with but I've had it since birth so when I was young it was more difficult but it got easier as I got older.
Yes! While my allergy is fairly common, people never take me seriously when I say it could literally kill me. I don't carry this EpiPen for nothing!
ugh TOTALLY agree with you. All the time as a kid I was told (even by my parents) that I wasn't having symptoms and it was all in my head. They never once took me to the doctor for it. At 19 my body shut down from all the damage it took for so many years (mainly my intestines) and thyroid disease, immune, etc., followed. I looked like death. Yet STILL people didn't believe me: "You're young so you're healthy." Even some doctors told me to give it up (essentially). Saw a Chinese Medical doctor and she took one look at me and was like "ohhhhhh shit." She nursed me back to health with crazy, old school Chinese herbs over a few years, and now I am just correcting severe deficiencies with supplements but my organs are working again thanks to her, thank god. Listen to your kids, people!
"It's harder when you're lit" "it's litter when you're ha-" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"I love you so much you're like the only other person that would name drop Keith Morrison in a casual conversation" Jenna to Julien is SO CUTE
II relate to Juliens experience with celiac, but with my panic anxiety disorder.
Me: "I can't ___ I have an anxiety problem."
Person: "I get nervous sometimes too"
Me to my teacher: "can i present to you after class i can't do presentations"
my teacher: "nobody likes presentations you will be fine"
I ended up having a panic attack and was sent home early
it's the same with depression too, i'll be talking abt my depression to someone and they'll be like "i get sad sometimes too" as if to say "you're not special" XD
I have bipolar disorder and I try to explain my dramatic mood swings people tell me “everyone has pms issues, you’re overreacting..” ahaha fuuuck
I have Celiac Disease just like Julien and I literally was nodding my head and saying true throughout that whole part of the podcast cuz it's very accurate #celiacsrepresenttt
It’s crazy people don’t think it’s serious. I remember when a girl in my writ101 class had celiac disease, and when I got candy to hand out for my presentation, I tried to buy gluten free candy & then asked her which type she knew was 100% okay to eat bc I would hate to get someone sick or left out.
I enjoy drunk Julien. Requesting a full drunk vlog.
Russian president who can't eat wheat..
My husband said: "Putin is tootin' "
Julien, I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2002, at a time where I could not go to a resturaunt because the chefs themselves didn't understand what gluten even was, and I had to shop solely at a weird ass health food store that cost an arm and a leg. I have dealt with people harassing me for faking it, I've had people immediately give me a look of disapproval as soon as the words 'gluten free' escape my lips. You are the first person I've seen in the public eye who has celiac, and it makes me so happy to see someone who I love to watch on the internet share the same thing I have, because I've spent my whole life feeling more or less alone in this. I absolutely love you and Jenna, and y'all have been making my day for years now. :)
okay so you guys hit the nail on the head when it comes to chronic illnesses/pain (including auto immune conditions) and the community and spoonies like me who always get told "oh, i sprained my ankle once" and try to relate with you when they don't really understand what goes on in your everyday life and just how EXTENSIVE the pain/fatigue/damage being done to your body actually is.
I just wanted to say thank you for using your voice to say something about a pretty ignored/silenced community, even if you didn't know you were doing it.
It hit home for me, so just, really, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Right? I’ve had chronic migraines for years, but I recently got diagnosed with cluster headaches with my first cluster attack period. It’s kind of a rare disorder, and it’s the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experienced. Like completely changed my pain scale because my cluster headaches are worse than every other painful experience I’ve ever had COMBINED. They’re completely different from migraines and regular headaches, which I also have regularly. I hate talking to people about it because no one has ever heard of it and then they try to relate like “oh yeah I get migraines too” or “I’ve had a really bad headache before once” like boiiiii these are not similar! You can’t compare! You don’t understand! I need a support group for people with chronic pain!
I was literally watching the old Shane podcast while waiting for this :)))
OMG that is like my favorite podcast episode it's sooo funny I have seen it 5 times already :')
The first time I heard Deepthroat was in Shane's carpool karaoke with Twaimz 😂😂
I'm so glad I never listened to these before
With Jenna no longer uploading I still get "new" content every week.
Misssssssing you🌈🐩🌺
I always cheer so hard for Julien when it comes to trivia games because he's so bad at them. 😂
CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY THE NEW ONE WITH SHANE
cards against humanity would be amazing! even if it's just the two of them. haha my husband and I usually just pull a black card and then random white cards from the box if it's just the two of us for shits and giggles. sometimes you get the BEST combinations 😅😅
There's online versions that allow you to download new card packs and make your own. You could play it on twitch
I think this is the only CZcams channel that I like and even look forward to hearing about sponsored stuff. 😄👍✌👌👏🙌
I am a very sad and depressed person. But this whole pod cast had me smiling ear to ear.
Such a good idea for this pod cast. Thank you guys! 😂
We got RING for Christmas after someone tried to break in on Christmas Eve. We were next door at a party and decided to set the alarm. Literally an hour later we get a call from our alarm company that the back door had been messed with. We love our Ring. Gives us a little sense of security
I will never cease to appreciate how real you guys are. Your theory makes a lot of fucking sense and it's totally in line with all of these higher up powers using money to sway the odds. This is why I've continued watching you for so long Jenna. Thanks for this content
Fuck I meant this to go on the demonetization and censorship podcast lol
"Miley is wiley"
"Miley is cry-ili"
"Miley is sad"
"Miley is dead"
🙂
A podcast where you play games drunk for over an hour is literally everything I wanted today. Thank you for making my monday awesome I love you guys
I was tested and diagnosed as celiac five years ago. I feel you. I appreciated the shade 👍
19:46 "It's harder when you're lit. It's lit-er when you're har-" 😂
Throwback that the dink fam will appreciate - I totally made J&J's Enchilada Bake for dinner and it was DELIGHTFUL!
I'm getting my boyfriend the 10 pack of me undies to support the podcast
Oh my god after watching this podcast like 4,000 times I just now realized Julien has an autograph from Michael J Fox?!
Damn I did not realise Julien sounds like Jonah Hill til you said it and now I cannot unhear it.
"it's harder when it's lit and its lit-ter when it's ha-oh." JULIEN 😂
The thing you were saying about Celiac disease is like when people claim they have depression when they get sad sometimes. Or saying they have anxiety because they worry a lot.
Kassie Rouxel yes absolutely. It’s like the people who post on every single social media site about their anxiety. And we’re the ones sitting here too anxious to even dare to post something like that
my sister (who doesn’t have anxiety or depression) ALWAYS says she thinks she has anxiety, because she gets nervous around people sometimes. me (who has anxiety, depression, and adhd) has cried multiple times in public because i was too close to someone... smh
Thank you so much for that rant about people self diagnosing. I've noticed this recently with anxiety disorders. People self diagnosing themselves so much that it makes people who actually have issues with anxiety look like a fucking joke. I've struggled with anxiety issues for a long time, and I can't fucking stand when these people think that having anxiety (or any mental disorder) is "trendy" or "cute". I would give ANYTHING to get rid of my anxiety and these people come along and make a mockery out of an actual issue.
Hey, just getting around to watching this. Wanted to comment on the celiac thing- I tested negative for celiac but I have for years felt genuinely sick after eating wheat products. It's kind of tough being in a place where the celiac community tells me I am not serious enough AND the general population thinks I'm being an asshole for no reason. I obviously know that celiacs have it way worse than I do because I am not doing permanent damage if i accidentally eat something with gluten, but it's just unfortunate that I'm sort of mocked by both sides.
Kia M maybe you’re just gluten intolerant, I get sick from dairy and peanuts.
I feel the same way - I have a diagnosed wheat/gluten allergy and was tested for celiac but don't have it. I can have tiny amounts of wheat w/o it messing with me but anything larger than, like, a couple crumbs makes me sick. I actually relate to Julian a lot when it comes to people not taking it seriously - I've been asked "why do you think you have a gluten allergy?" and it's like ". . . Because my allergist told me I do?"
"Are you proud of me?"
"I did."
"Miley is hivey, Miley is wily, Miley is cry-ly, Miley is sad, Miley is dead." Hahaha oh my god, Julien is great at this game
Please play Cards Against Humanity with Shane and Ryland!!!!!
I was listening to this while cooking, and I almost burnt myself laughing so hard 😂😂😂
When they were talking about Celiac it just made me think about how people do the same thing with ADHD. I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and have to take medication for it and it’s honestly irritating when people who have never been to a doctor about it are like “yeah, I totally have it because I couldn’t pay attention in my 5th grade science class 10 years ago”. It’s just frustrating that people try to use it as a personality trait and they think it makes the quirky and cute when in all actuality, ADHD is anything but cute and quirky
Locked outside my house, but the wifi is still good out here. It's windy af but nothing can stop me from watching J&J's podcast❤️
The fact that Julien's drink is just sitting there getting watered down bugs me
"David Beckham's on the spectrum." can I get that on a shirt? lol
GO OFF ON THAT SHADE FOR THE CELIACSSSSS. i’ve had it for 18 years and you could not have explained it better. This is how i’ve been trying to tell others for years. THANK YOU. thank you thank you thank you.
Julien. Preach it man. That's exactly what I tell everyone! I've had celiac for my whole life and I'm 20. My favorite thing is to tell people that I could probably find something in their diet that they wouldn't eat if they really had celiac. I'm majoring in dietetics to help people like me & you.
& imagine 20 years ago and nobody knows what you have and the doctors running every test. It's 10000 times easier today than it was back then and I don't really feel bad for some people, there's so many options now.
I just wanted to let you guys know that you really do make me feel better when I am sad. I have never truly understood why people watch stand up/sit-coms when they are unhappy, but watching the podcast gives me that exact fuzzy feeling that people describe. I live alone right now (I'm 20 and this is the first time I've had a place to myself) which is amazing and I'm happy to have this privilege, but it's also very hard and sometimes I get lonely. Anyway, this is just a long winded thank you. I love going back in the archives of podcasts to find pods like this that remind me that I'm not alone.
Thank you for saying what you said about celiacs and things like that! I get horrible migraines where I have vision trouble and everything is too loud and bright. It feels like my brain is bleeding and I throw up a lot during it. People try and relate and say "Oh I get headaches too" like no it's not the same.
FAM for the Steve Jobs / sex change question my first guess was "Ashton Kutcher goes to the butcher" can we just. CAN WE JUST. Take a fucking moment for that. I laughed at myself. ok bye.
Update : For the Ape / underwear question I said "King Kong covers his dong"! I can't. I need a friend here. I am fucken hilarious (to myself). I love this game already.
When I heard the Russian president thing I was like "Vladimir Putin can't quit tootin'!" The makers of the game really failed me there lol.
Briana De Luca i thought it was ashton kutcher is a transgender but it doesn't rhyme like it did in my head😂
How did they both hold a straight face while Jenna is trying to say the lyrics at 44:46, I’m on the ground crying lmao
Throwback to some of my fave Jenna videos ❤️ dear gosh I loved this
When Julian almost said its litter when your harder tho
You guys are hilarious, the only CZcamsrs I started following religiously other than the people who make me fall asleep (ASMR channels).
Jenna and Julien, you guys give me something to look foward to when I get off work!
Thank you for speaking up about Celiacs! Diagnosed with celiacs 3 years ago and went vegan a year ago. You're such an inspiration Julien!
I literally forgot they were playing a game after Julien was talking about Celiac disease lol. No shade im just stoned lmao
You should have Cupcakke on the podcast. Not kidding. I would watch the shit out of that. I first heard "Deepthroat" on Shane's carpool karaoke when he had Twaimz on there. 💀💀😭😭😂
This was wonderful. Loved when you both flubbed the answers. Also just enjoyed watching you two enjoy each other. Great stuff!
I loved this podcast so much couldn't

havent even watched it yet and im already laughing cos of u trolls. love ya
AHHHHH
Hey Julie, I'm gluten free due to my blood sugar levels and psoriasis! I get eye rolls all the time when I explain that! I'm sorry it happens to you too.
