Ballaz B Trust, I know I feel you man BUT his style could have changed a bit and didn’t need to sell out to mainstream culture. I do suppose a certain aspect of that is needed if you want to go big which it’s clear he has wanted to do and has done successfully. If I played devils advocate there are a plethora of artists who have remained true to their day one style, there’s fluctuations and growth but they don’t necessarily abandon their roots, eazy has sort of done that. You hardly hear him rap over timeless beats. He’s lost in the sauce personality wise, seems hella depressed and on copious amounts of coke. Just sucks to see him go from this to where he is at. I been following his journey for a looooong time to to go through his early days to now is sort of wild to me. But again at the end of the day love dudes music, mainly the old stuff but he has a lot of good new tracks too. I liked him on that track All Facts with Ty Dolla $ign.

I think it’s good he’s developing new sounds and vibes, because that might be the key to not completely drain out. You can’t expect artists to stay in the same zone, that’s not possible.
