In this video I will show the best scanner to diagnose Mercedes Benz cars on a budget. The iCarsoft Mb 2 scanner is specifically designed for Mercedes cars, but it can work with other vehicles.

Was hoping you could help me out and give me advice. I have a 2004 Mercedes’ Benz c320 and I crosswired jump started my car and my reverse lamps won’t turn off at all and my battery won’t charge while running, when I took it to a shop they said they don’t know what is wrong with it. Another auto shop said I may have fried the ECM and wanted to know what to do. I am a college student in a small town and am looking to fix it on my own. Pls reply if you have any answers

Can you tell me how you fixed the heat, I fixed the heat on my W211, I changed the valve and it still doesn't work. Is there a reset from the scanner because I bought the scanner to reset if needed.

iCarsoft MB V3.0 is much better. It is faster and will automatically identify which modules have DTCs (error codes). Whereas the MB II requires you to look at each module separately to see if there are any codes. The automatic scan with the MB II is only used to identify which modules are present.

I have a 2009 Mercedes C350. Would you be able to advise me with an issue on my car? When I turn the car off my throttle body keeps trying to adjust it self to what I’m assuming to the close position but it keeps going all night. It won’t stop and it drains my battery completely. Any suggestions to what the fix could be. I should tell you this stared to when I was on the highway on a really hot day A/C on my car turned off all of sudden due to overheating I pulled over to the side the fan kept running and when it cooled it started back up again. But did it mess up the throttle position of the car and now it won’t go back to normal? Would I be able to reset its position with this?

I am getting that tool, lol ... Sensesomatic brake control, does that reset the internal counter on the SBC? I've had the red light red brake light come on the other day and was happy it came back to normal but why did this happen? It did lock me in park and then wouldn't let me shift the car. But luckily it was temporary. I've checked for recalls and there are some ground wire that has been a problem that's connected to the SPC . will that ground wire cause of red light brake problem to come on? Or could it have reached the limit on the internal clock?

I had to get rid of my 2001 e320 about a month ago because a few months prior to that I had to install a new battery. I also deleted an evap fault code with a Bluetooth to phone scanner.
Even though I drove it over 200 miles it would not read 3 modules and so could not pass smog. A Mercedes specialist here could not get it to read those modules. Evap, an o2 sensor and I forget the 3rd. You are allowed one no read.
The specialist said it was a problem with the ecu.
Could this scanner have fixed this problem?
The MB II diagnostic scanner itself is a very useful tool. The printed user manual that comes with it, on the other hand, is out of date and incomplete as is the currently available version of the update tool software, which makes it difficult to find an use some of the scanner's features. And, just to make matters worse the PDF version of the user manual that's available online is even older than the printed version.
I feel like I got the same problem. I'm not sure it reads all the sensors like it actually should? Works decent enough but I'd like the maximum use out of it. Did u figure how to update the software? Hopefully someone makes a video....

I have a MB S430 year 2004 , whenever the weather gets cold or rainy, when I press the unlock button it doesn’t unlock the doors, I have to keep pressing the unlock button for more than 5 minutes then it unlocks the car.

I just have quotation if this scan can do programming like SRC program, my car 2004 E500 w211 needs to clear the usage of the SBC from exceeding the 350k to zero.
No it doesn’t do that, but it can pull the code but not reset the counter

Benz replacement modules need to be CODED to work with each individual car. For "coding" you need a Xentry tool connected live with an online Benz account.... ouch !
This is why a cheap fuse-box gets real expensive quickly... where Japanese cars NEVER NEED a stupid fuse-box replacement.

If your car supports it you can change the setting in the menus in the instrument cluster via the buttons on the steering wheel.

I used to have a W210, and it did not have the standard 16 pin OBDII plug. Instead it had a round plug in the engine compartment with a lot of pins. That may have something to do with it.
You gotta get the adapter for it and plug that into the scanner, then the pin compartment

I've noticed this guy ignores all questions. I'm pretty sure this specific scanner only works for starting the year 2002 to 2016 or 17. Hope that helps seven months later.
Control modules and ecu's are the same thing. But your caption states how to reset control modules instead your showing us how to delete codes. Totally different. We didn't learn anything watching your video.
