I love how from the Diddy Kong Racing gang, Conker is that childhood friend who ends up being almost a criminal.
Makes Diddy Kong Racing funnier in retrospect, knowing this cute little red squirrel goes on to become an alcoholic 😂

Coker also had a Gameboy game prior to this called Conker's Pocket Tales that was also an E rated game. Only other franchise I can think of that made this drastic of a turn was The Banana Splits. Winnie the Pooh and The Grinch don't count, because their horror slasher movies were independently made on a low-budget.

Conker's Bad Fur Day follows the story of Conker the Squirrel, a red squirrel who embarks on a quest to return home to his girlfriend, Berri, after a night of binge drinking with his friends. Meanwhile, the Panther King, ruler of the land that Conker is lost in, finds that his throne's side table is missing one of its legs and orders his servant, Professor Von Kriplespac, to solve the problem. When Von Kriplespac suggests the use of a red swuirrel as the fourth leg of his table, the Panther King sends his minions to capture one. During his quest to return home, Conker finds wads of cash scattered throughout the land and becomes sidetracked from his goal. This led him to embroil himself in a series of increasingly absurd and often dangerous situations, including having to recover a bee hive from enormous wasps, confronting a giant opera-singing pile of feces, and getting drafted into a war between grey squirrels and a Nazi-like group of teddy bears known as the Tediz, which Conker ultimately destroys.

Damn they need really really to make a sequel we’re it picks up we’re it left with conker finding away to bring berri back by reaching the programmers or something along those lines, the ending is so morose i cant believe Rare has just left the story of conker like that for all these years , plus that last scene leaves room for a beginning to the sequel. Rare was going to make a sequel at first:
After the release of Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rare began production on a new Conker game named *Conker's Other Bad Day.* But in 2002 Microsoft bought Rare from Nintendo, so instead of finishing and releasing the game, Rare remade Conker's Bad Fur Day for the Xbox, naming it Conker: Live and Reloaded.
According to rumors, "Conker's Other Bad Fur Day was supposed to follow Conker’s quest for his girlfriend Berri after her death in Bad Fur Day, but this time as the king of all his land. Such a premise would have been easy to come up with, since the Easter egg sequence after the ending credits of Bad Fur Day showed Conker getting wasted once again and walking into the darkness, presumably during the early morning of what was about to become his hundredth hung-over day."
It could have been that. But people wanted to know it for sure. Chris Seavor answered that not only did they start working on a sequel with that title, they also had a full storyline ready to be depicted on the screen and many new movie references in mind: “We actually started on a direct sequel which was going to be called ‘Conker’s Other Bad Day‘ which dealt with Conker’s somewhat unsuccessful tenure as King. He spends all the treasury money on beer, parties and hookers. Thrown into prison, Conker is faced with the prospect of execution and the game starts with his escape, ball and chain attached, from the Castles highest tower.”"
Chris also revealed that Berri would have made an appearance. She would have been known as the "Panther Queen" (which is revealed by the end) but no other detail was revealed. However, Chris seemed to imply that Berri would return as a Terminator-like being (possibly referred to as the Berrinator) who would possibly hunt down Conker.
On September 16, 2008 it was announced that Microsoft cancelled the Conker game Rare was working on, and in a later interview, some of Rare's staff members hinted at what might have been.
According to Chris Seavor as he revealed in an interview in September 2012, "It had some graphics and concepts done for sure, but didn’t really get much further than that. As for what happened to Conker in OBD, well he became Emperor of the Known Universe, got a new girlfriend, and lost an old one (again). There was also a massive space poo: The Cthulpoo, the main baddie. Lots of other stuff happened, with some new characters appeared and old favourites returned. We got to find out about Gregg’s childhood and why he hated cats, there were tons and tons of parodies of the more contemporary movies, and an evil doppleganger version of Conker that you got to play for a while. And (Birdy) died. That kinda stuff… As with the original, it ended on a bittersweet note."
There's always a possibility that Conker's Other Bad Day can be made and released, however.

The fact there were only two voice actors for the conker and berri plus all the male and female is very impressive One of the best games of my childhood
He must have like the most lax parents of ALL TIME! I remember seeing this game firsthand back in 2002 and even my dad wouldn’t let me have it. Years past and I’m an adult- dirty filthy scalpers have pretty much made this game more non-affordable than it already is for what-the sake of demand?
At this point it's not scalpers that made this game rare(ha). It never had many copies made as it was released late into the N64's life(one of the final games)and while it had good sales it wasn't phenomenal sales. Combine this with technically being a Nintendo game and having a high demand, all of this is just bound to naturally create a high price tag. I got my copy years ago and even when it was less than 10 years old the game used could still go for $40 in most retro game shops.

More like shame nintendo didn’t capitalize on this. Part of why the 64 didn’t last longer is because Nintendo kept insisting that CDs were just a fad and stuck to cartridges and inadvertently caused Sony to create the Playstation which screwed them even more.

This game was so underrated. The remake doesn't do the original justice and with Microsoft taking the rights from Rare I can only hope for a decent sequel (or prequel) soon.

I’ve always wanted to play this game. Even though I don’t have a n64 sadly, I hope Nintendo adds this to the n64 expansion for Nintendo online but I doubt it will happen due Nintendo trying to keep their family friendly image.
