- The patch sticks to your body-kind of like a Band-Aid-and prevents pregnancy by releasing hormones that stop ovulation and help block sperm from getting to the egg. It’s really easy to use-just stick it on and you’re good to go.
It cant go on the chest. You need to mention that
Not in the chest because if people get brest cancer
No do not put it on your chest or breast their on your waistline arm and but I put mines on my waistline in between my vagina and stomach I feel it’s safer that way cause when I’m in the shower I barely touch that area so yea ❤
I just put my first patch on Monday I probably won't change my patch until next Monday because I just put one on yesterday
good info
I have a question. I've been wearing the xulane patch for 4 weeks straight to skip my period. So, my question if i want to resume my period, do i skip this week?
We can't offer specific medical advice online, but it is important to know that the bleeding you have while using the patch is not a normal period but just your body’s response to a break in the hormones that are in the patch. If someone does not want to have regular bleeding, it is safe to use the patch continuously; although that person may experience breakthrough bleeding from time to time. If someone wants to have regular bleeding every month, it is also fine to skip the patch for a week every month.
This very helpful thank you ❤🎉
We are so glad it was helpful!
Hi
I didn’t get my periods after my delivery now my baby is 5 mnths old
And am sure that now am not pregnant
So my question is when I can use this patch?
Like after getting my period z or I can use it now onwards
???
We can't offer specific medical advice online, but if someone is sure that they are not pregnant, then it is safe to use the patch. You may want to visit with your provider to find out why your periods have not resumed. This may be normal if you are breast feeding.

Thank you
I love my patch
Can you put it on the side of your thigh?
There isn't a medical reason that you can't put the patch on the skin of your inner thigh, but depending on your body you might want to think about making sure the patch is in a location where it can stay on for a whole week, and consider if chaffing, etc. might contribute to the patch coming off.
Yes !
