Ethel Night - My Heart Is A Listenin' (From the 1952 FMP Musical, 'My Heart Is A Listenin')

Classic Hollywood starlet Ethel Night is as well known for being one of America's Sweethearts during the 1950s as she is known for her amazing voice, and her ability to sings so powerfully! This title track is taken from the 1952 film, 'My Heart Is A Listenin' which is a musical about a small town country girl who's childhood sweetheart turns out to be a cad, so she moves to the big city, and just when her life is changing for the better, he shows up and pleads for her to take him back. Starring of course Ethel Night as Suzy Gimmer, and Elliot Harrison as Dicky Franks, along with a memorable performance by character actor Kirst Thoroughs as the millionaire posing as a street urchin, 'Rags McGillicutty'.
