Hello all, little video of changing out my dash speakers. Was actually pretty fun, even though it is a lengthy process for two simple speakers. Hope it helps someone out!
Lol, lookin pretty comfortable behind the cam there. You need a tripod and some time lapse showing the work. Those are good 4x6 speakers, I sold a ton of them back in the day. Love ya bro, lookin forward to the next one.
I think you're safe to say it's one of the hardest (maybe "involved" is a better description?) speaker swaps when it starts with the roof and windshield. I know it's a Jeep, but still.
Hi Dave I work at Lordco Auto Parts Vernon and recognized you in this video, I did the same installation with my TJ and yes sound is much better!!! Drop by n say Hello 👋
Hello Dave. Great video! I did the same in my YJ a while back but you nailed it. I also have a hard top but I think I'm missing something. Can you do a video on the hard top removal? thanks.
F that. I installed a Klipsch THX certified audio system with subwoofer (120V) and 1000W true sine inverter on dash activated relay and 10" iPad on magnetic dash mount for less than $500 all in.on my YJ. Awesome
Hi Dave, great Video , very helpful. If you wouldn’t mind could you tell me the exact model number for your Kenwood speakers. I have a YJ and need to replace my two speakers and would like to order them. Thank you, Sam
About to do the same thing. Question how do you like the speaker bar. Just ordered and it waiting for delivery. Was the install hard and were you able to use the same connector if you had the older style Soundbar.
Great job bro she is looking good and now sounding good!

Where did you get the replacement screws for the ones you drilled out? Thanks!
