Tried this henna gloss for the first time. I brought it from belle bar Organic and it is amazing. I was worried at first because it really is strengthening. But man afterwards when I washed it out with conditioner I felt the absolute benefits and my hair hasn’t felt this healthy or looked this healthy in awhile. I love this Curly Proverbz !!!!! Xoxoxo

Hey! I really think coming to Atlanta instead of New York would be more beneficial for a meet and greet. It's the self proclaimed hair capital and there's so many people (including professionals) that I think would be very interested sine you're the only one that really promotes the use of henna for hair care. Hi there. I received my products about 2 weeks ago. Before that I followed your diy regimens with clay, fenugreek and henna. Just using the clay masks alone gave my hair conditioning and cleansing that I have never experienced before. I have 4DD hair. :) My "coils" have always been so intense and tight that loose hairs sit on the counter in a circle, flat. When I watch your videos, my husband says, "Your hair will never look like that." That's fine. I know each person has their own texture of hair. But guess what, since I have been following your regimens my hair is beginning to have the elongated coils. So much so, that I decided to do the big chop and I plan to continue to use the techniques you share on CZcams. I have about an inch to 2 inches of hair. But the coils are pretty and I'm hopeful that it will grow...soon.
I am very sure my coils are clumping and are more defined because of the henna masks I've been using since February, 2017. So, when I say elongated, I mean that my hair is forming curly coils, like springs on a mattress, versus being a tight wad of hair. And it does this on its own. I don't have to manipulate it at all to get the coils. When I went natural about 3 years ago my hair never had curly coils. I tried almost every product on the market that promised to give me the effect I wanted but not one of them had this effect on my hair type. After about 2 years of being natural, my hair grew but it also broke off so much when I combed it. I became disgusted with having huge balls of hair in my comb, on the floor and in the sink that I started putting relaxers back on my hair. In time, my hair began to show damage because, in my opinion, afro hair does not want to be chemically treated. Also, my hair felt so conditioned after I used the bentonite clay (I couldn't find the rhassoul clay) with ACV and oils mask that you recommended. Up to now, each week, I have been using the henna and clay masks, alternatively. Do you think this is too much. I'm still trying to find a good curling product to keep the definition I am achieving without making my hair crunchy and hard.

I took that step from conventional dye to henna and i have no idea why i didnt do it sooner. I just love henna, i have new growth and my hair has never felt better. I have a local person that mix’s my henna for me only cos I dont have the courage to mix it myself. oh yes and I do a co-wash after my henna treatments too girl!!! keeps the benefits of the henna in longer I feel, so maybe I really only do actual shampoo like 3 times a month, maybe 4
Second week in a row where I used the mask. The first time I used a smaller amount mixed with rosewater and conditioner. It felt stronger but not too much of a difference. The little specks never seem to wash out. I used it again today with a spoons worth with Aloe vera juice (left in the fridge overnight) and conditioner and WOW. My curls have never been so shrunken and bouncy. I haven't noticed any color difference, thankfully. Less breakage. Going to try again at the end of the week. I have high porosity super duper fine MBL hair and am hoping the henna can give me some extra strength. I am very impressed with how it came out. My hair was so juicy, so easy to run my fingers through and my cuticle was super flat. That was the best part. The frizz and tangling was nonexistent. Maybe it was the different conditioner or the additional mask, but I will be trying again.

Hi CP-I just applied my first gloss using your formula from Belle Bar. I should have watched this video before whipping up my gloss, because I followed the directions on the package which said only to apply the henna powder to conditioner-- without first hydrating the powder with water. After applying it and sitting down to watch this video, I realized I should have done this and I made additional gloss and just added to to the product already sitting on my hair. I hope this doesn't mean I wasted powder.

This was a really interesting Tutorial! I have been using 100% Henna & Indigo for about 3 years and I love what it does for my hair. The one thing it doesn't do is moisturize so this is a great find for me. I have a question for you. In my experience Indigo does not work effectively unless you henna first. Has this been your experience? Is this mixture of yours a way that I can touch up the blackness of Indigo without using the Henna first. I would love to have a short cut touch up with the Indigo. Oh how I love Henna, let me count the ways, ooh marshmallow root, omg I want to try marshmallow root, and I think it may loosen the curl pattern because its deeply nourishing the hair, at lease it has been doing that of rme and my hair is so much smoother and there is no more frizz on my 1c 2a hair what used to be like a super damaged 2c 3a frizz ball, the henna has changed my hair for me back to how it was before I ever did anything damaging to it, of course also I am not bleaching or frying my hair with heat, I am no heat no chemicals, I don't do sulfate free though, personally I just like sulfate shampoo, even if its not in fashion for natural girls, I personally like a creamy sulfate shampoo and I shampoo once a week with that and I have good results that way...love these ideas with henna very cool ideas gorgeous woman, btw I am a ballet dancer, if you don't know Misty Copland maybe you would love to watch her if you want to watch any lovely and beautiful ballet, God bless you!

Tried this henna gloss for the first time. I brought it from belle bar Organic and it is amazing. I was worried at first because it really is strengthening. But man afterwards when I washed it out with conditioner I felt the absolute benefits and my hair hasn’t felt this healthy or looked this healthy in awhile. I love this Curly Proverbz !!!!! Xoxoxo

Hey! I really think coming to Atlanta instead of New York would be more beneficial for a meet and greet. It's the self proclaimed hair capital and there's so many people (including professionals) that I think would be very interested sine you're the only one that really promotes the use of henna for hair care. Hi there. I received my products about 2 weeks ago. Before that I followed your diy regimens with clay, fenugreek and henna. Just using the clay masks alone gave my hair conditioning and cleansing that I have never experienced before. I have 4DD hair. :) My "coils" have always been so intense and tight that loose hairs sit on the counter in a circle, flat. When I watch your videos, my husband says, "Your hair will never look like that." That's fine. I know each person has their own texture of hair. But guess what, since I have been following your regimens my hair is beginning to have the elongated coils. So much so, that I decided to do the big chop and I plan to continue to use the techniques you share on CZcams. I have about an inch to 2 inches of hair. But the coils are pretty and I'm hopeful that it will grow...soon.
I am glad that you have found my routine helpful in reaching your goals, interesting that you say it elongates your curl. Can you pinpoint the cause?
I am very sure my coils are clumping and are more defined because of the henna masks I've been using since February, 2017. So, when I say elongated, I mean that my hair is forming curly coils, like springs on a mattress, versus being a tight wad of hair. And it does this on its own. I don't have to manipulate it at all to get the coils. When I went natural about 3 years ago my hair never had curly coils. I tried almost every product on the market that promised to give me the effect I wanted but not one of them had this effect on my hair type. After about 2 years of being natural, my hair grew but it also broke off so much when I combed it. I became disgusted with having huge balls of hair in my comb, on the floor and in the sink that I started putting relaxers back on my hair. In time, my hair began to show damage because, in my opinion, afro hair does not want to be chemically treated. Also, my hair felt so conditioned after I used the bentonite clay (I couldn't find the rhassoul clay) with ACV and oils mask that you recommended. Up to now, each week, I have been using the henna and clay masks, alternatively. Do you think this is too much. I'm still trying to find a good curling product to keep the definition I am achieving without making my hair crunchy and hard.

I love your channel, unfortunately I live in Indonesia and i dont think i can get your products here. I have only been on the henna journey for the last 5 months. I took that step from conventional dye to henna and i have no idea why i didnt do it sooner. I just love henna, i have new growth and my hair has never felt better. I have a local person that mix’s my henna for me only cos I dont have the courage to mix it myself. Second week in a row where I used the mask. The first time I used a smaller amount mixed with rosewater and conditioner. It felt stronger but not too much of a difference. The little specks never seem to wash out. I used it again today with a spoons worth with Aloe vera juice (left in the fridge overnight) and conditioner and WOW. My curls have never been so shrunken and bouncy. I haven't noticed any color difference, thankfully. Less breakage. Going to try again at the end of the week. I have high porosity super duper fine MBL hair and am hoping the henna can give me some extra strength. I am very impressed with how it came out. My hair was so juicy, so easy to run my fingers through and my cuticle was super flat. That was the best part. The frizz and tangling was nonexistent. Maybe it was the different conditioner or the additional mask, but I will be trying again.

Absolutely adore your videos! I saw your FAQ video and for first time henna users you suggested using a gloss first before trying a mask. What's the difference between a henna mask and a henna gloss? Do you have an updated henna gloss diy?
Hi CP-I just applied my first gloss using your formula from Belle Bar. I should have watched this video before whipping up my gloss, because I followed the directions on the package which said only to apply the henna powder to conditioner-- without first hydrating the powder with water. After applying it and sitting down to watch this video, I realized I should have done this and I made additional gloss and just added to to the product already sitting on my hair. I hope this doesn't mean I wasted powder.

ooh you're so pretty ! i love using henna and can really see the benefit on my hair but GIRL it's messy ! even days after i will find small stains of it in my bathroom, otherwise i love it . I also have a question do you think that I could warm up the henna (not directly like let it sit in warm water) before use so it can penetrate my hair better i have low porosity ?

This was a really interesting Tutorial! I have been using 100% Henna & Indigo for about 3 years and I love what it does for my hair. The one thing it doesn't do is moisturize so this is a great find for me. I have a question for you. In my experience Indigo does not work effectively unless you henna first. Has this been your experience? Is this mixture of yours a way that I can touch up the blackness of Indigo without using the Henna first. I would love to have a short cut touch up with the Indigo. Definitely trying this! Thanks so much!

Oh how I love Henna, let me count the ways, ooh marshmallow root, omg I want to try marshmallow root, and I think it may loosen the curl pattern because its deeply nourishing the hair, at lease it has been doing that of rme and my hair is so much smoother and there is no more frizz on my 1c 2a hair what used to be like a super damaged 2c 3a frizz ball, the henna has changed my hair for me back to how it was before I ever did anything damaging to it, of course also I am not bleaching or frying my hair with heat, I am no heat no chemicals, I don't do sulfate free though, personally I just like sulfate shampoo, even if its not in fashion for natural girls, I personally like a creamy sulfate shampoo and I shampoo once a week with that and I have good results that way...love these ideas with henna very cool ideas gorgeous woman, btw I am a ballet dancer, if you don't know Misty Copland maybe you would love to watch her if you want to watch any lovely and beautiful ballet, God bless you!
