2021 Africa Twin CRF1100L Oil Change - HOW TO - Oil Change Guide

Here is my take on an oil change for a 2021 CRF 1100L Africa Twin.
There are ton's of videos on how to do this that are more concise, more accurate, god knows the production quality is higher. But what many of those videos fail to do is show what every step of the process looks like, done for real, failures and all. Here that is, with a go-pro and a MAX lens strapped to my face, lets change the oil!

We’re going to need this same video for the KTM 890. Chris even paid to have his heated grips put on so I doubt he will change his oil.

The collar on the left rear bolt always falls out so take care not to lose it. Also always tighten the bottom bolts first on reassembly to prevent stress on the front left bolt as it's quite a small bolt.

Thanks for the video, What I do before pull the filter oil I start the bike for a few seconds so the engine move the rest of the oil is in the sistem, after I drain the oil, maybe that help you, make sure the stick is on place so doest spray oil everyware

Well mine is not showing, very bottom.
Not sure if its eats oil, has only 3000km

No need to do all the gymnastics checking your oil. Leave it upright on the center stand.
