- Hi everyone! Welcome to this video. Had a lot of questions recently about where to use skill points in my player career mode so I decided to make a video about it. As I said in the video, this is by no means a best build guide, just my thoughts and opinions. Hope it helps!

It would be awesome if u could make one of these for every position
I play as a 90 rated 171cm, 154Ibs CAM with 69 Physical, 44 Defending, 92 Dribbling, 85 Passing, 82 shooting and 92 pace. It was the most balanced build I could come up with and can basically do anything except take set pieces and head the ball( Although I occasionally score headers). The passing is great too with 89 for short pass, 84 for long pass and 80 for passing and curve. With the two passing perks you basically pass like KDB without the inflated stats.

I personally use a bigger player with less pace and instead spread the points over different things, mostly free kicks & penalties. Pretty fun, gets me to around 88/89
My pro is 91 rated, 5'7" tall, with 78 Freekick accuracy. Its so frutrating not to grow a little more on some attributes after reaching 25 lvl, but know that its possible

I think the 87 build was really good the only thing I would suggest to people who want a bit more agility go down to a smaller size
I've got an 87 cam with high pace shooting and stamina. It just works better for the way I play which is... ZOOM I also have perks for dribbling so I dont suck at that. Many reasons why I love the skill tree system

Just a kind of suggestion. In your own CAM career in which you got highest 87, you can also change or height to 5'8 and your weight between 99 and 154 and get an overall of 88, instead of being short at height of only 5'4 and 5'3. Just a kind of suggestion and the rest is your choice

i dont like the new system at all. i started my career at 16 in the argentinian league, and was 90 rated with no room for growth by 18 before i had even moved to europe. Just giving out skill points slower, or allowing for additional growth through performance and age would make it more satisfying.

I wish all the mental Stats were max out to begin with to boost up rating like vision attack postion and aggression like I already have that by playing as him.
not very realistic to have a 16 yr old (for most careers) to have the vision of a world class player

Height and weight affects too so as a CAM I used a 171 cm with 60-65 weight and with max dribbling max shooting max stamina max passing and got a 90 OVR

DJ, may you make one for Center Forwards? I just started a CF save, and idk what categories weigh mode on the overall, so I'm trying to figure out how to build them as something in-between a CAM and a Striker in the meantime.
Yeah kinda tuff
I was actually able to get my CF up to 91 overall. That might be the highest possible but I would have to experiment more. Here’s how I did it:
Pace: Maxed out(Don’t have to but I wanted to)
Shooting: VERY IMPORTANT. Only put points into finishing, long shots, and shot power. Every thing else either barely increases overall or doesn’t at all.
Passing: DO NOT NEGLECT PASSING. Put as many points as possible into vision and short passing ONLY. Curve, long passing, and crossing does not boost overall.
Dribbling: VERY IMPORTANT. Max out dribbling stats. Agility and balance are good to have but don’t go overboard if you don’t have many points left to spend.
Defending: NOT IMPORTANT. Don’t put anything into defending of course.
Physical: VERY IMPORTANT. Here put as many points as possible into reactions ONLY. Anything else doesn’t boost overall much. Despite it being in the physical section I discovered that it actually boosts dribbling which is very important.
Follow this rough outline with your own preferences for stats not necessary like weak foot, skills moves, agility, balance, etc.

@@tomtik101 Dribbling and shooting for sure. Passing is also mildly important. However if you want to make a 92 or 93 rated CF then you would have to make him very short, which I don’t want to do. The single most important though seems to be dribbling.
@@mugiwaranonegro1491 really? I'm at Level 14 in my CF save right now, and when I applied the Lynx Archetype, my overall remained the same, whereas when I applied the Maestro Archetype instead, my overall went up by 2 levels, which makes me think Shooting takes higher presedence over Dribbling.
In any case, the help is greatly appreciated. As I suspected, it seems like a CF has the same high-effect categories as CAM, the only difference being which one(s) weighs more on the overall.

does anyone know why my career player isn't able to do 5* skill moves when I've got maxed dribbling and skilled dribbler perk activated?? been trying to figure it out for weeks
there's specific skill tree options for skill moves (little lion thing), if you maxed out dribbling you should already have it though, might be a bug?

The best build for CB is basically just defending and physical
CB’s and Fullbacks are easy.
They get to 90 Overall real fast.
You can make any Legendary defender as a base build and can add whatever you want. It’s one of the fastest positions to grow.
I got a 93 overall CAM build I'm not sure if you can go higher than that though

@@harrisonphillips5172 Ok so you know how when you go to your screen to change your position to the right it has a list of areas that are position specific like for CAM vision and passing are important so focus on that once all your skill points are allocated to those areas then you pretty much max out reactions in physical and you should have a 93 overall but you do sacrifice the ability to do free kicks and PK so just a fair warning
You can get to 94 but the tallest you can be is 5 ft 6 and no heavier than 154 lbs

Pace depends on the height and weight too. So try reducing the both and you will easily get 92 or above.

Dunno why u worry so much about rating, you need stamina whether it makes ur rating better or not on paper it makes you a better player for the team. I'd rather be 87 and have a player who has what I like than be a 90 rated cam ja get me
