I’m really glad that modding for Sonic Generations is still going strong, even after over 7 years from the game’s release, and this Metal Harbour stage mod right here has got to be one of my favourites out of the lot. I especially love how the new custom alternate routes throughout the level also help to compliment and even improve upon the Boost gameplay and design, instead of just mashing the original game’s level design completely unchanged with the new Boost gameplay and hoping that nothing will fuck up like what a significant number of these level mods do. Overall, major kudos to this Level Mod’s original creator if you’re reading this, I can’t wait for what else you’ll bring next! Also, what the hell was up with that Crying Baby sound effect during the Missed Rocket Launch sequence?

Sonic Forces will probably be remembered as the game that broke the fans' confidence on Sonic Team/SEGA.
Woah. This old level mod is way better than some of the others I’ve seen. They got the rocket part just right, Big’s still there, they even added new secret routes! And they’re clever!
I do think that some of the alternate routes need some purpose to them though. Some of them are just kind of there without any reason to go to them; I'd say maybe sprinkling some ring capsules and stuff around would be a cool idea.
I never, ever understood why Sega didn't just make Sonic Generations dlc levels instead of making sonic lost world and then forcing sonic boom upon us... they forgot what made unleashed and generations great and now Sonic Forces is a weak, watered down mess

But the werehog permanently cemented the distaste people had for sonic at that point. 06 was embarrassing and sonic didn't need to turn into a werehog to alleviate that. It doesn't mean i dont dislike the werehog gameplay tho

The first thing I thought of when I saw that Hub World was that, “this looks almost like Paroxade0’s Wave Ocean model.” And this looks really good so far. I take it, it isn’t finished yet but it looks smooth and seems to run cleanly. So very well done :)

I'm guessing it's a fail state. Usually a dev uses these signs to know when a problem occurred during play testing. I would also guess that Everytime this happens, the dev cries inside.

The main thing I would add to this is: Adding enemies to the far away ships you can boost to. They just feel very barren without anything there; they almost feel like you shouldn't have been able to get to them at all outside of the spring/ramp you can use to leave.
I really like how they introduce the 2d sections in this mod, Sega could learn a thing or 2 from this mod, it doesn't really force the 2d sections too much...
Might wanna tell the mod author he forgot a few audio assets the actual stage had like the Jet sounds you'd hear every time they flew nearby or overhead. It's kind of what made the stage intense, like there was so much going on.

It is beyond me how there could have been such a severe dip in quality between Generations and Forces. They made the controls, visuals, and mechanics worse in every conceivable way! How does that happen?!
There was already a dip in quality between Unleashed and Generations. Still, the reason why Forces came out the way it was, it's because all the devs that worked on those two bailed out of SEGA. And ended up working on games like BoTW and Mario Odissey.
Random question: Am I the only one who's ONLY disappointed with Sonic Forces and no other Sonic games? I actually like Sonic 4 Episodes, Lost World Wii U, and Unleashed.

Level design wise, this dude can make a pretty cool remaster for SA2! Just look at all the alternate roots he added
So many you can just explore the level for fun instead of just comeplete'n it n moving on.

It more of a sudden problem encountered by using the rocket. Devs usually use this to see if there is any cosistancy to why it fails.

Just looking at the Sonic speed stages of Sonic Adventure 1 and Sonic Adventure 2, I prefer first.
