Tbh I'm fine with the devs making something new like this, I just wish they'd communicate what they're planning with RL better, even if that's nothing.

Really hope you can change the camera settings. Because the one in the trailer is like default RL settings which no one uses except for the bronse players that havent looked up anything yet.
I think a very important part of the feel of rocket league comes from flips, not seeing it in the the trailer concerns me that it will just feel like a generic racing game
Ill watch some live streams and gameplay vids to see how people feel about it. My hope is that this project allowed Psyonix to get all of their assets, decals, effects, and other UE3 game elements upgraded for UE5 so we see an upgraded proper Rocket League game as well.

Hopefully they make so we can use all items from RL in the racing game, you don't really see much of the car in RL but with a racer like this there is potential.
the fact that this isnt an addition to RL but an addition to Fortnite will forever piss me off. Yall have fun though...

@@jaspuhh. just because they’ve been working on it for a couple years, doesn’t mean anything. I just don’t think it’s going to be something that I’ll like. Nothing against Psonix or rocket league, but I just want rocket league.

I have 2 ssds with 1.5tb total storage and I don't have room on my computer for fortnite wtf psyonix why can't this be a standalone download option
As rocket league players I could care less about this racing game, but if you can get fast to d3 and unlock black oem's to use in rocket league, it could be worth to spend some time on playing this. Depends how bad the feel of the car is. Looking at the trailer, the whole gamemode looks like disney speedstorm and several exactly similar games where you cannot even talk about handling on cars. But like I said, if I can get black oem's whit few hours of play, I'm okey with it, but like if it's going to take more time, then just forget it. Maybe we can get rocket league on UE5 after they have ported everything from rocket league to fortnite.
