Actually, she was. I met her several times in person before she won the Fields (I had no idea who she was.) She always dressed in a quiet way, but her eyes were extraordinary as was the structure of her face. The film doesn't really do her justice--she was a shy person, so I think she held back on camera and she was already ill--but her eyes were luminous, some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
