It's a real wonder to see this route 39 years after I took it nearly every day; so much that's new, more expensive; more people & property improvements and investments. London & this area have changed much, mainly for the better, it seems. Good to see Manze's Pie & Mashed still in Bermondsey Sq., tho the nearby New Caledonian Mkt. has been greatly diminished by that hotel. London is an absolute marvel, past and present! These bus rides are very special - thx, again!

The 188 is definitely one of linfons best routes, the whole route is full of views and attractions from one end to the other
Great journey on the 188 and i just love the little beep before the bus takes off and also are you gonna do the 1 to hampstead heath since the 188 replaced it to Tottenham Court Road
