First Impressions of GEORGIA! 🇬🇪 | Walking Tour | Solo Travel Batumi | Georgia Travel Vlog (Ep. 1)

I just arrived in the country of Georgia and and excited to see a change. I was trapped in my hotel for the first couple of days due to rain. Finally the rain stopped and this is the first day that I am able to walk around and explore the streets of Batumi, Georgia!
Whenever I arrive in a new country, I always go on a self-guided walking tour around the city just to get a feel of everything around me.
I spent a lot of time near the coast of Batumi. One of the highlights of the day was to take the Argo cable car to the top of the top of a nearby hill. The view of the city was rather impressive!
Also, riding the ferris wheel during sunset was kind of cool - even though it was short. It is located right next to the Ali and Nino statue.
After an entire day of walking around, enjoyed watching the final moments of sunlight right on the coast of the black sea. It was a magical sunset!

Batumi is far more expensive than most of Georgia because it is a major tourist destination for Turkish folks, Russians, Ukrainians, and other Eastern Europeans.
