Crazy how they can offer 10% back on Uber and Uber Eats, other credit card carriers need to step up the game!
The Uber benefits on this card are really unbeatable right now. It's crazy value for a no-annual fee card. You just gotta hope Capital One isn't weird and approves you 🤣
you missed a couple BIG benefits of the savor one like the fact it has NO foreign transaction fees and if you also have a captial one venture card you can transfer the "cashback" to the venture card thus converting to miles and allowing it to be used with transfer partners. other than that great video! the savor one is a great early game pickup that allows you to stack cap on "miles" even if you're someone with little or no established credit history.

I have 3 capital one cards, the platinum, then the quicksilver and the savor one. Right now I’m using my Amex business platinum for the SUB but typically all food goes on the savor

Savor One: Top Tier!
I made the mistake of "upgrading" this card last month to the QuickSilver. Looking back, I should have kept the Savor One. I'm going to wait the 6 month mark around Nov 11 and reapply for this card again or cancel the Quick Silver and start over again with the Savor One if I get it again and not cancel it again.

Denied. I have the venture x and was looking forward to combining the rewards. I’m in excellent credit range with solid income. I’ll see what the reason is when I call them for reconsideration.
Did you get the Venture X within the last 6 months? Or freeze one of your 3 credit reports (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax)?

I was Denied 😅.
I applied for this card a few days ago and they completely declined me. The main reason I was given was that my credit only goes back 2 years as I’m only 20 and fairly new (the rep told me they look for a minimum of 3 years). This is despite the fact my credit score is 750. I was even denied twice for reconsideration with the same reason every time.
I think it’s safe to say I’m not going to be able to get this card 😂
I got accepted for it as my first card with no previous credit history
so I am confused when I keep seeing people say they are getting declined

Give it a bit more time and you should get approved once you build credit length history on ur account!
Since you’re so young you may have 750 but since your credit history is so little it’s like a soft 750, I’m about 23 and I just got accepted at a 665 so just give it time

I've had the QuickSilver and recently received the Savor One back in July 2023. I'm aiming for the Venture X to either replace the Quick Silver or be the 3rd card from Capital One. Does the 6 month rule apply to only capital one cards? I just applied and accepted the Amex Blue cash everyday. Or does the 6 month only count since July, when I got the Savor One?
Every 6 months for cards within the Capital One family. You'll be good.
This card seems like a no brainer. I currently use chase freedom unlimited and use Uber eats often. Is this definitely worth switching to?

I think it's pretty obvious. Same way Amex gives out the monthly Uber credits on its cards. Uber is likely footing part or all of the bill. But hey, that's fine by me.

For Chase apply the rule 5/24. Now, for American Express , Capital One and American Bank is the same rule 5/24 ??????????????????????????

You missed a very key point, you get 3% cashback on all entertainment! Movie Theater, Arcade, Waterparks, Theme Parks, bowling, event tickets etc.. and it’s 4% Cashback on the Savor Card which is what I have.

Great card, I really hope they renew the uber deal. I already pay for the uber subscription and spend a ton on it monthly. Heck, I'd even get the regular Savor if they dropped the uber rewards from the free version. So much value for me.

On the Entertainment category: do you get 8 percent back on sports and concert events? I live in Vegas, this would be huge. Or is it just certain events on their websites?
It's certain events through their portal
Only certain events on the C1 portal get 8%, but most if not all live events would still get 3%

It’s a YMMV rule- that’s been known for years but I have been hearing mixed reports some people have gotten around it
I personally have 4. Savor One, Quicksilver, Venture One, and Walmart.
I don't travel much. My U.S. Bank card gives me %5 back on utilities, internet, and streaming services. My other U.S. Bank card gives me %4 back on restaurants. My Citi custom card gives me %5 back on groceries. I don't order through Uber Eats, so Savor is basically garbage to me.

Something that should be mentioned, the credit card companies don't pay you the cash back. They steal that percentage from the business you're buying from and give it to you. This hurts small business. Please keep that in mind.
