Twilights change in character is mostly because she has yet to restore loyalty in order for the elements to fully be restored and by doing so, she believes that she has to be "loyal" to her past friends by bringing them back. She hasn't really thought about any other options because she is desperate to fix the mistakes she made by failing Equestria and the princesses by returning early. Basically she thinks everything is her fault. Also the pacing issues are most likely the cause of the unplanned hiatus between last episode and this one. Ep9 was never supposed to be a game changer, it was supposed to be set up but with the long period of time, it seems more like a pacing issue now. Apologizes for that.
Flurry heart is going through a pattern of emotional verbal Abuse from her mother while her mother candice is struggling with having to be a single parent and the loss of her husband. Twilight struggle's with Depression after losing her friend's thinking she'd be worthless without them. Celestia is now going through what luna is going through while luna is going through what celestia went through. They're getting a taste of no offence but there own medicine... It hurt's because this entire series of rememberence is just showing us the pure brutal honesty of what LIFE is like and how much it hurt's. It Show's us what other people are dealing with. I relate to this.... And it sink's in to my head and realization click's in. These series has really helped me and made me feel less alone.

I have a theory, once twilight restored the elements will she have discord, Candace, Luna, Flurry Heart and galaxy star use them together like the mane 6 before them? I could see all of them becoming the new elements of harmony
I agree but let’s try to see which elements they represent Discord: laughter easy one no explanation needed Flurry Heart: kindness we see how she represents kindness in this episode she cares about everypony In the crystal empire and wants to help Ponies just like Fluttershy Galaxy Star: honesty you can see before “Her Name” She can see through discord’s lies much like Applejack although I can’t think of a Time where we see her tell The truth I think honesty’s a good fit for her I honestly don’t know Where Cadence and Luna fit in but the rest are looking good 😎 EDIT: I think that I figured out what element Luna would best represent: loyalty: you can see throughout the episode that Luna is trying to stay loyal to stay loyal to Celestia and do anything to help her escape the nightmare I don’t know how Cadence would represent generosity since that is the remaining element and she is the last pony if anyone else has an idea I’d love to hear it
Hi Applegeek! It’s great to see another video from you, bro.🙂 As for my thoughts on the latest Remembrance episode, this one is definitely one of the heaviest in the emotional department. The struggle between Flurry and Cadance keeps slipping ever so deeper and it’s getting harder to watch the two of them suffer like this. Im glad that Galaxy is there to comfort Flurry in this dark hour, because Flurry fears that she’s slowly turning into Cadance, and that’s sad to think about. About Twilight still considering to perform that one spell she found last time, I like how we got some exposition on the one’s who used the spell before from Luna. As for the sequence with Discord..., man that song and the scene when he read Fluttershy’s letter to him...that whole thing got to me real good. This to me, was just as heartbreaking as seeing Twilight poor out her emotions to her friends a couple of episodes ago. One scene that I liked here was Twilight having a conversation with Cadance. It was nice to see them interacting with each after all this time and seeing them reminiscing about their time together with Shining Armor and Flurry was very sweet, and yet sad. What’s even sadder is that Flurry overheard Cadance in that conversation and made things between them worse than before. I can’t wait to see how things get resolved with those two. With Remembrance concluding with a two-parter, I’m excited to see what happens next.
