Over the years I have kept a small list of the things I would do differently during a wedding ceremony. I felt there were just too many things wrong with the traditional wedding ceremony. I always wanted to know:
• Why is it “I do” and not “I love you”?
• Why does the officiant/pastor talk the most? I want to hear the couple!
• Who are these people in the bridal party?
• Why are the bride & groom's back to me almost the entire time?
In Jul of 2018, Joseph Zavoli and Lauren Trefz let me craft a wedding ceremony that answered these questions of mine. The result, an incredibly unique and engaging ceremony that was deemed one of the best ceremonies attendees had ever attended.
