cant believe so many super popular streamers still play on 1080p i was on 2k for awhile and the difference in game quality is insane. my rig does get way better frames on 1080 but with these absolute supercomputers they all play on its a no brainer to do at least 2k
Tell that to cs players who have been playing at 720p and below resolutions when they are using 1080p or 1440p monitors lol. It’s a matter of preference imo. The biggest factor in resolution difference is higher frames. And the higher your frames are the lower latency everything will be. Even having your frames go far beyond your monitor refresh rate is useful, ofc as you go higher there are diminishing returns. Also in csgo in particular they like how changing the aspect ration changes viewmodels since they don’t have access to an fov slider.
Oled is the best for gaming and watching content and I hope you touched your settings a bit for best color possible if not look at one pls it makes the huge difference

@@Batumma05 oled has much smaller pixel response times basically 0ms almost, so 240hz will feel more smoother on there plus the image quality is amazing, if you have the hardware to run games at max settings at 1440p then yeah defo worth it. only if you can justify the cost.

@@he1go2lik3it i thought the oled was the winner because of the no ghosting and in fast scenarios you have a clear picture everytime giving that info to your brain but ULMB 2 I think got rid of the ghosting of the monitor and thats why I'm looking for more info on which feels more responsive and I'm trying to make sure the ULMB 2 does reduce the ghosting to 5% still not beating oled but I do wanna see compassion

You might not have felt how much better to beam people in 1080p compare to 1440p or 4k yet. It is ugly but, there’s a reason why pro stay 1080p. It’s not only fast, it has unexplainable accuracy for tracking and flick shots. I suspect the game engine and the net code are optimized more for 1080p plays.

@@hyaaaaaaaaaaaa the differences are obviously the ui and design but the main difference is the asus has a more efficient cooling solution which allows it to be brighter than the lg other than that all specs are exactly the same, i mean LG supply the OLED panels for asus so asus cant change much about it other than the housing the panel goes in.
@@darkarch1998 HDR performance on the PG27AQDM was lacking from factory, only recently released a firmware update to correct this issue - and yes, the panel is supplied by LG, but Asus decided to move forward with a heatsink design + additional airflow rather than a fan like LG did (they state it has 5% better temps). I personally ordered the Asus, but a possible issue that may arise is that Asus is pushing the panel further than LG is, which may lead to accelerated burn in
It is the 1 percent low. It kept the fps fluctuations close to zero so it doesn’t messes up all those instant target switching or flick shots. High level plays can feel how not capping generate all those inconsistency.

Hey All - Quick Review of Asus PG27AQDM OLED (I own x 2) MP Verdict - Absolutely, Great Monitor! Response, Colours, Refresh rate and brightness are superb. SP Verdict - Absolutely No Way! Matte coating kills Immersion. It is way stronger and worse than anyone have said so far. Any white/light colours show very strong film of grainy, uneven coating. Advice - Unless you're playing colour intensive MP only, wait for Glossy finish and then 100% buy. I will sell both of mine as soon as that happens and do the same. I stopped all SP games because of how bad it really is. RDR2 starts in snowy mountains, and I had to stop on 3rd mission because of how bad the coating made overall quality of the game. You are welcome.
