i have literally no experience with makeup other than eyeliner, but i think how this works is that many people have red in their skin tone, which makes u look pinker, so when you add green, since it’s opposite on the colour wheel, it makes a kind of brown(/cancels each other out). this helps to even skin tone, and it helps ur skin look less pink, and maybe more tan(i think it depends on the skin u have a LOT)

thats what i thought too it has something to do with color theory, like how artists put a thin coat of green on painting to make the skin more beautiful
The evening out of the skin tone is because the skin color pigments get released when rubbing/breaking down the miniscule capsules or beads. Though not to discount what you’ve said. It does happen, albeit not discernably.
This is basically colour correction. Green corrects the redness of skin and makes the tone neutral. It's just colour theory. Not magic.

For the green bb cream, I think it works like that because of the redness in her skin, and green is the opposite of red, so it creates a balance?? I don’t know, but it reminds me of color correcting.

@@fijiwat6284 yeah I saw that, not the heat thing, but with rubbing the beads. It’s something like the beads have pigments in them that mix together ti create a nude color
It's literally just a natural looking foundation (it has color beads suspended in the green formula, that's why it turns tan). Many CZcamsrs I've watched say it's a light coverage, tan colored foundation that blends into most skin tones because of the lighter coverage. IT WILL NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT CHANGE COLOR TO MATCH YOUR SKIN TONE, IT WILL ALWAYS TURN TAN. SO BEWARE! It'll mainly just work for light and medium tones people. I'm very fair (the lightest shade in most foundation ranges. Sometimes they don't even have my shade), and when I bought this it made me turn orange immediately. Everything that is supposed to "change color to match your skin tone" has done the same thing without fail to me, so if you are fair, I suggest giving up and saving your money on something you know matches your skin. If you're light to medium, most things like it will work for you though, just beware if you are fair or deep toned.
do you have red or yellow undertones in your skin? alot of people are saying its a redness corrector. i myself am very pale but my skin has strong red undertones. thats why I'm wondering what your undertones are.
Thank you. I am also very pale, most foundations don’t come in a shade light enough for me, and I thought this was cool because it seems to match. But it will definitely be too dark for me then so I shouldn’t waste my money. Thank you for the heads up.
I’ve seen others talk about the beads, and when you rub the beads pop with different colors to create a tan.
@@rachelcookie321 as a pale girl who's tried some foundations, although not many, I second the OP's comment. Same issue, products that change colour to match your skin tone usually don't have enough white in them to match me.
Yep, I'm pale with pink/cool undertones and this stuff looks super orange on me. Do not buy it if you're pale! You need to have medium/tan skin

the green is for cancelling redness while purple is used to give a cool tone when ppl have yellow undertones
it doesn’t change according to ph or undertone. this bb cream has pigment beads that break when you spread it, like breaking a capsule.
green helps to get rid of the red parts on your skin there's another purple one which tones your skin

All you kids acting like this hasn’t been around for a long time. My mother used this in the 80’s…. The red color corrects the pink/redness out of your skin because it’s on the opposite of the color wheel. Simple. It doesn’t “turn you tan” or have anything to “balanced the ph of the skin.” 🤷♀️ Y’all trippin.

Its colour correction. Orange is for erasing dark circles or blothes, green for redness etc etc
i use a redness corrector and it does work but this isn’t that lol. that’s a green BB cream with tan beads of colour suspended in it. green colour corrector is never going to produce coverage of another colour it just counteracts the redness lol
It looks like the gimmicky products that were like "oh it's white it will turn your shade" but it's actually just particles of skin colored foundation blending in or something. I don't say there isn't green in it but it's definitely not just "green foundation"

As far as i know kpop idol used green make up too! They said it's for covering their redness and to add long lasting effect(?) Because they have to dance and sing and sweat so green base protecting the color of make up for not to oxidize(?) I'm not a professional lol but i've seen it somewhere in k-beauty vlogger

Lmao these tiktok kids. I remember when this first came out when I was in like, middle school, and EVERYONE was talking about it, and it sucked. They could have improved the formula but man, I remember it accentuating texture, looking ashy, and being too dark for my skin tone. LOL.

It is pretty simple, green and red are at opposite sides of the colour wheel so they cancel each other out, the green makeup takes away the redness.

I've tried this product once and it actually goes from green to (tan) skin color because of some pigment beads in there or something like that.
When first applied it looked green but when I spread it it became beige orange-ish (because I have pale skin) on me

honestly such a great question. I checked and it actually transforms to a universal shade so no you do not order your shade, it is a one shade fits all foundation :)
