I played against the same guy in a elimination chamber he kept spamming the Batista bomb and stunning me then made me tap after like 10 Batista bombs…come to find out he’s 5th on the leaderboard
Is there a ranked mode? Or is it lobbies? Bc I play lobbies but I see no ranked mode or any ranking of any kind anywhere
I believe all online matches are ranked if I’m not mistaken
Theres a guy on playstation leadboards who has like over 70k wins and more wins than matches played lol

I just do custom matches with pin only so those sub spammers can’t abuse it. People like that Batista player don’t care about having good matches, they just wanna cheese to a win
Word but I ran into a guy who used the sub and wouldn’t tap me even tho it don’t end and he would gain finisher momentum to fill the bar so cheesy. He would boost it to 3 finishers then use them all on catch finisher. After like 20 he finally pinned me. The worst 30 minutes of my life. There are plays that bad that they need to abuse something just to win. My thumb has muscles 🤣

I only wish more plays would set up spots like in a wrestling match. Played extreme rules recently with someone and they overused finishers and signatures. Would only run at me and use power attacks. Or when I was grounded would spam the same attack. Ping was awful, match was competitive I guess.. but we didn't set up any spots or get technical. Didn't even get "extreme". Lost to a submission because he couldn't pin me.

Its not just the batista players fault. I blame 2k for not testing their game. Not balancing it at all.
Catch finishers are unblockable
Dragging is unblockable
Submissions are op
Some moves are still unblockable
Thats not forgivable after 2k20.

Unlockable catch finishers ( only chance to reverse is when they initiate a grab)
Unlockable moves and unlockable dragging. submissions are op
But something I don't understand is why get upset if a person decides to use a submission on you if they haven't been playing cheesy?

It’s not even the submissions for me people keep doing the striking grapple and constantly get me stunned sat through it for 5 minutes the game needs to be fixed
