Wouldn't be the first time top secret documents got destroyed. May have even been in the CIA office at the world trade center on 9/11 and entire office floor incinerated. Who knows what was in those fires.
A lot of records were destroyed or came up “missing” in the years immediately following the assassination. Those being released don’t paint the entire picture. Oswald’s trip to Mexico isn’t new information.

Nothing much to be learned from these documents. Any incriminating records were destroyed years ago. Providing there were any to begin with.
Because the "intelligence community" or CIA wouldn't want to release any information that would lead to the prosecution and arrest of "those" who killed POTUS aka the "CIA"

Intelligence Officials claim Cameras weren't working when Oswald went into Soviet and Cuban Embassies. He should have been photographed 10 times leaving and entering as cameras were apparently working when the other guy I just mentioned was Photographed about 10 times going in and out? 4. Hoover said man on Mexico City audio tape was not Oswald! 5. The X-Ray Tech Custer said he was asked to fake JFK's X-ray and JFK shot from front both head and neck.6. Dr. McCelland certain JFK shot from the front. McClelland had all the credentials in the world as did 7. Dr. Crenshaw who saw the same. 8 Officer Of The Day Dennis David saw still frame of JFK shot in right temple. 9. & 10,.WH Photographers Robert Knudsen and Joe O'Donnell both said Autopsy photos were faked, and one in particular showed a severe wound in rear of head then they saw same photo with no hole. Those are 10 good reasons for conspiracy and I could name another 30-40 that are as compelling.

@@carlmarston1687 Well, that's literally what the reporter stated. The documents were supposed to be declassified by 2017 and in 2017 the POTUS in office at that time blocked it. Of course, prior POTUSs might have had the opportunity to declassify the documents ahead of the deadline but that didn't happen.

That is not the reason. I lived during that time and remember ckearly all the conspiracy theories. It had nothing to do with Vietnam at all. JFK decided to reveal disclosure in the next speech. He wS told not to. He Saud he would do it anyway, because the people had the right to know. . . So they took him out. Itcwasn't Oswald.

Everyone directly involved in keeping these documents secret past the stated release deadline set in the late 90s by congress should face at least dismissal, if not criminal charges.
Most of you probably remember Dorothy Killgallen who was on the game show what's my line. She was an investigative reporter who was investigating the assassination of JFK. She was the only reporter who was allowed to interview Jack Ruby. She was found in her apartment in New York dead. It was ruled a suicide but people who were close to her said that there was no way that it was not a homicide. There were things about what she was wearing and other details that didn't add up. She also had a folder that had all of the information the had accumulated about JFK and it was no where to be found. A few videos on You Tube that deal in her investigation plus a book by Mark Shaw called The Reporter Who Knew Too Much. Supposedly Ruby told her that the leader of the mob in New Orleans was responsible for JFK's death and her death.
Same with all the phone calls Oswald made from jail, it was an obvious set-up and cover-up...
I do remember Dorothy Kilgallen, not just from “What’s My Line” but as a skilled journalist. She was murdered, plain and simple. My opinion, gathered from my 60 years of following this case, I’d say the CIA killed her, took her folder of detailed information and staged a suicide. Anyone who still believes JFK’s death was not a conspiracy, isn’t paying attention. If it was the simple scenario of Oswald, the “amazing sharpshooting defector”, and a magic bullet…..then several questionable deaths, and 60 years of ridiculous cover up attempts would not be necessary. To paraphrase the old Shakespearean quote “The lady doth protest too much, methinks”, the government doth protest too much……..they know the truth, and are diligently hiding it. It must be very bad, very damaging to very high ranking people.

Witnesses statements were changed and some died mysteriously days after. A terrible rated Marksman with a WW2 rifle hits a headshot towards a moving vehicle from a elevated position with 3 shots in less than a minute. There's no way Oswald did it, definitely a cover up. If he did do it why pick a harder shooting nest. If he was on the other side. The motorcade was coming towards the building. All the documents should be released. Finally end one of the darkest days and let the truth be known to the public

I think the reason they released some of the information further pointing to Oswald is a dead giveaway they are trying to steer you further away from the actual truth. It is very possible that the truth is most embarrassing to our own country (USA) and government. We are concealing our own embarrassment.
I don't think Oswald assassinated Kennedy. It was a setup by the CIA and he was merely a patsy in the big event that those involved called it. Then Jack Ruby killed him the next day. It was too neat and I also think it was the only way LBJ could be president. He wanted that very badly.

I was 8 year old too. Born October 55. Earlier in the Year Kennedys motorcade drove by little league field where I was learning play baseball, they stopped and JFK waved, our adult coach went to fence and waved back, when he turn around he was in tears. Monumental day.

I visited the JFK museum at the book depository Friday. I was struck by how small the plaza actually is, the movies and documentaries make it seem much larger. The notions that the shooting was so very difficult were eliminated. A possible shot from the grassy knoll was ridiculously close, someone could have killed anyone in that limo with a pistol.The probable shots, other than the timing aspect were easily made for someone with military training.
There are many books and some video's online that tell the actual facts. There are also things planted in official stories to misdirect anyone who looks at it, like the Oswald Mexico visit. The snipers were on buildings in front of the limo not behind in the Texas Book Depository. That Dallas museum is a joke. Remember, they didn't like JFK in Dallas so why would they build an accurate memorial?

I told my wife 95% of what I got upto at the works Christmas party and she is absolutely happy with that as she knows nothing of interest would be in that 5% I'm not willing to share... Nothing incriminating at all.

However, all the documents that have been released since 1992 have been redacted, so are we to believe that the remaining 3% will not be? We have no control over this farce. It doesn't really matter though. Everyone who is willing to sacrifice for knowing truth and has investigated this matter knows exactly what went down. We just don't have "politically correct" legal documentation to prove it.

CBS's Dan Rather famously saw the Zapruder film in 1963, and described it on air. He got almost everything right: except one small detail: which way Kennedy's head moved after the fatal shot. He said the President's head moved "violently forward". The first time there was any public showing of the Zapruder film was at the trial of Clay Shaw in 1969. The first time it was widely seen by the American public wasn't until 1975.

The CIA knew Rather was one of them and would lie through his teeth. The one thing the CIA could not fix in the film was showing JFK being blown violently back. They were able to create a fake blowout in the front and crudely darken the blowout in the rear, but could only get trustworthy Dan to lie to the public about the other stuff.
We've never seen the full version anyway, because several frames were removed in the first few days after it was filmed.

The government is holding back the remaining 3%, not because it would change the decision that Oswald acted alone, but rather, to show the total incompetence of the CIA, FBI, and other federal authorities. Most experts agree that the Secret Service should have been notified that Oswald should be tailed as he was a dangerous person.
Oswald was in the Cafeteria on a break when the shots were fired. Stop the Spin.

I think from start to finish the way they handled everything was a complete debacle. The first thing that should’ve happened was that they gave the medical examiner the right to examine the body because he was the law in Dallas at the time when somebody dies whether it’s a president or me. That’s the kaw, but they refused him and that to me started a whole chain of events that never should’ve taken place.
If there’s nothing new, then why was it withheld for 59 years?

I don’t understand why no one talks about the impact of the headshot would “back and to the left” if you watch the video he gets pushed backwards and a piece of his brain that Jackie grabbed when it went backwards, also if he was shot in the head from the back(where lee Harvey Oswald was) the wound would have been higher on the head because of the elevation the shooter was at. Both doctors that worked on Kennedy said he was shot from the front then later one of the doctors retracted his stamens and said it came from the back and moved from Texas because he was threatened and he said he didn’t feel safe. What about how the bullet that went through Kennedys back into Connellys back and then into Connelly’s wrist wasn’t fragmented or damaged, and someone shot a cadaver in the wrist with the same caliber bullet and just from the wrist bone it was fragmented severely. It is so insane that they have gotten away with lying to us and killing tons of people without repercussions it’s sickening

Not sure if you know this..... but in 1979, the HSCA medical panel forced the 3 pathologists, Drs Humes, Boswell, & Finck to agree that the head wound was actually much higher than they reported back in '63. They moved the entrance wound up from the EOP about 4 inches to about where the crown is. The Drs reluctantly agreed.... even after they said, they knew they were right...
As an interesting side note to this moving of the head entrance wound, you might want to listen to the testimony of Lt Richard Lipsey, who was in the autopsy room that Friday night. In his testimony under oath, and what he believes is top secret, he reveals that JFK was hit in the head TWICE...yes you guessed it... once near the EOP and the other head wound was about 4 inches higher... Lipsey's testimony in 1978 or 79 was at the same time, the HSCA was forcing the Drs to change the location of the ONE head wound...
The obvious conclusion, to me anyway, is that JFK was hit in the head twice, but in 1963, the Drs had to keep it down to one to ensure that 3 shots were all accounted for and all the wounds were accounted for with just 3 shots. In 1963, the Drs unaware of the exact location of the shooter, placed it near the EOP... Later, later, the HSCA realized they need the head entrance wound to be much higher, as you brilliantly mentioned.
That brings me to another point Lipsey talks about... Lipsey says that on that Friday night, the Drs felt the lower head wound exited JFK's throat. Got that? The higher head shot, probably a different type of bullet, perhaps a frangible bullet, destroyed JFK's head. The 3rd bullet hit JFK in the back/shoulder area. This bullet is now claimed to have been found in the limo behind Jackie... You know it as the Magic Bullet... To make it magic, the WC raised the location of the back wound and had it exit the throat and proceed to strike Gov Connally... We now have confirmation that never happened.
What does this all mean.... There had to be more than 3 shots... That means there had to be more than one shooter...

I think he got close to the truth, a little too much overheated melodrama, but very close to what really happened. What clinched it was Gerald Ford, getting a half hour prime time special to focus on Oswald as the lone shooter, dismiss Stone, and to ignore or discredit other possible evidence.

Three things struck me as strange:
1. The surrendipitous position of the photographer.
2. The clarity of the film (Super 8?).
3. The steadiness of the "home" photographer's hand.
4. The fact that even After the event, the photographer kept shooting even after Mrs. Kennedy climbed on to the back of the limo.
This film seems to have been taken by a Very capable cameraman, who had an exceptional amount of emotional control, especially after having witnessed a man getting his head blown off.
I feel the filming was staged to have visual evidence to show future presidents what happens when they don't fall in line with people ruling this country.
