Thanks for all the comments. To answer some of the questions: The car is a 2004 CGT. The mic captures the sound, but yes it distorts. it was an Audio Technica mic that could not handle the loud volume in close proximity - sorry, I'm no engineer and did my best as I had time for a quick hook up before taking off with some friends. The car has no auto blip. I do blip the throttle on the down shifts to match the new rpm in the next gear as the car revs from 1k to 9k very quickly. I only blip the throttle on the up shifts if I'm shifting casually but still in the high RPM's. The roads are PCH near Malibu and somewhere up in the canyons (I'm not too familiar with the area, so I don't know the street names). Finally, FYI: I race a cup car so I get all my thrills on the track. It's not just this car one must respect, but the cars and people around you. I don't take this car near the limits in a public situation, but do enjoy it within it's capabilities which are far beyond some of the other cars I drive. It's a fantastic car and truly my favorite street car.

+Amin El Either you have hearing damage or don't know what sound clipping is. The microphone was set far too high, just listen for the shrill peaks when he revs, it sounds atrocious.

Dylantuning1995 Rodas not only floored it through a corner with worn out tires, the tires where the original the car had wich ment the car was 2005 carrera gt with 8 year old tires, plus the tires were cold and since the car has a very non intrusive traction control. 100+mph through a corner+ non experienced driver+ cold tires+old worn tires+tree= Two deaths. Somebody once said (Jeremy clarkson) speed doesnt kill suddenly becoming stationary does.

I'm not sure about this but I think the CGT has an throttle auto-blip function whenever you shift down. I may be wrong though.
