Highlights: Gopher Softball Wins on Senior Day vs. Nebraska

Junior Nani Valencia and senior Delanie Cox each collected three hits to help propel the Minnesota Golden Gophers over the Nebraska Cornhuskers 7-5 on Sunday.
Freshman Macy Richardson (6-5) got the win for Minnesota (27-24, 13-10 B1G). The right-hander went seven innings, giving up five runs, all of them earned, on 11 hits.
Valencia's three-hit day led the Gophers offensively. Cox added a double and an RBI to her three-hit performance as well. Junior Taylor Krapf also helped out for Minnesota, putting together three hits in four trips to the plate while adding two doubles and two RBI.
