I live a half-hour's drive away and rarely feel any desire to visit.
Although, I do sometimes venture out to that mess when tropical systems are near.
There are much better choices within an easy drive.

@@presidentpython717 did not destroy it hardly any damage beachside , downtown Panama city sustain some but moderate. Mexico city beach got the worse of it.
Yeah big condos over development destroyed it and corrupt government
My mom wants to go to Panama City but I want to go to Miami. jksjsksk. Like, Panama City is 10 hours away from Houston and Miami is 17 hours away, but still.

Have not seen any ATV legally driven anywhere on any public roads.
They are made for off-road terrain.
No they are illegal there unless you ride on your own property.. No road or beach use allowed

It’s a lot worse now.Im so glad that I moved away.My wife’s family lives there,so when I go back and visit,i always go to Tallahassee.I don’t party in Panama anymore.Its boring now.I feel sorry for the people that still live there.
There are things to do here that are a LOT better than going to PCB. I live less than 20 miles away and I'll bet it's been more than a year since I even crossed the bridge.
From my perspective, it has been destroyed. I'm old enough to remember when a visit to PCB's draw had a lot to do with the enjoyment of nature, not glitz and commercialization. Sand Dunes and Surf, not condos and tourist traps.
Oh, it had tourist traps back then. But, they were quaint and unique. Now, visiting Panama City Beach is like visiting a generic largish beach anywhere. No personality. Very little nature. Even the sand itself has been altered.
Nine-miles of beachfront driving down condo canyon...16-miles if you include Thomas Drive... and rarely view the Gulf of Mexico & sand dunes. Very depressing.
