I have this, I prefer my 1911 but not by much! Nothing wrong with decocking it before you take it down, but since running the slide back to engage the slide stop and pull the takedown pin cocks it, it’s sort of redundant
I was in Iraq 2006 when we got some of these to try out it was a S.F only thing I was a MARSOC RAIDER at the time we carried Springfield operator 45 acp 1911's I loved mine but I tried out the 24/7 tactical 45 we carried them about 3 months after a couple dozen gunfights I was impressed but they took them away and gave us the biggest POS to ever be labeled a gun the Glock 17 9 mm Glock has a cult following I will never understand they are junk in combat 7 rounds of 9 mm to stop a man compared to 2 from a 45 acp not mention the Constant cleaning and up keep, but when I got home in 2016 I went out and bought 2 Taurus tactical 45's only semi auto I own besides the Springfield XD series pistols I have, but the Taurus 24/7 oss DS tactical 45 is a solid accurate gunfighting pistol
