Looks, it’s hard to deny the R34. It was synonymous with the boy racer scene and after 2fast 2furious and later we associated it with the late legend himself Paul Walker. When it comes to iconic performance and history, it’s the r32. They literally banned it because it was dominating the GT races. Every single race for 2 seasons I think it was, something crazy like that anyways, the r32 won all of them. I feel like the r33 failed because they wanted to take the r32 and make a version for the masses. They didn’t care about legacy too much it feels like. That’s why they went back to the roots for the r34. It’s what the 33 SUOULD have been. Modern and upgraded with legendary performance. The R35 doesn’t count imo as a skyline. Same with the infinity g35 “skyline” if I’m buying a skyline and money isn’t a problem I’m getting a 1983 R30 RS-X, I’m getting a KPGC10 Hakosuka 2 door aka the 1971 2000 GT-R, and I’m getting the OG Godzilla the R32 GT-R.
"The late legend" was a pedo. That said, yes the R32 was very capable, but alot of its racing success outside of Japan came from not being classed properly. The Australian cars it beatwere literally the worst cars ever manufactured on earth, and the touring cars it raced against were not on its market and were generally 4 cyl cars or Na.

Bro said his fav gtr is the r34 cuz he rebuilt the whole thing 💀 that's like saying a micro-car is faster than a gt3 cuz you can modigy ut to put a W16 on it bruh
Why your choice of words and emoji, you’re clearly a kid. It flew over your little head
@@MannyH606 And his comment flew over your head cause you're too hyper focused on the way he types. He has a point. The guy was explaining stuff about his custom 34 as if it had to do with the legacy of the original. He probably didn't mean it that way, but it came off kinda weird.
@@crimsonraiderxv3422What the guy in the video was saying is that it's pretty much all OEM hardware that is made to be brand new. So the experience of driving that particular car is analogous to driving it when it was brand new 25 years ago. So we can make a good comparison between it and a newer car like the GT3RS
People here that dont own either of the cars know better ofcourse hah
A hyperbole for you so that you might get it. -U where never on the moon, now Armstrong comes to you and says, "hey the moon is made of cheese". So u trust him, because "u WhErE nEveR oN tHe mOon"? I hope u get it.
What this man said is absolutely nuts, do your research...
“What’s your favorite and why is it the R34?”
You answered your question with another question.
My favourite is still the R33. Fell in love with it after seeing Leon's yellow Skyline in The Fast and the Furious.
Any import guy born in the 80s... also feels the same... also, gran turismo played a big role in my childhood.
R32 hands down.
R33 is aging very well
Honestly that hood is the best looking one.
U glazing bro
1st Gen NSX. Godzilla will always be Godzilla but the NSX put every car manufacturer on notice.
Damn I remember watching this guy plasti dip his wheels on his mom’s driveway! He’s come soooo far. Happy for him 💯
You’re dreaming.
I was surprised when TJ said it too, cuz he fawns over his GT3RS like its the best car ever made
@@ChrysGaines not to disrespect the R34 GT-R but they’re in different leagues.
@@jonevans790 don’t shoot the messenger, but if someone like TJ who’s owned and built everything from BRZs to a Twin Turbo Huracan and had multiple GT3s says his R34 is amazing, I realllllly want to experience both of them myself
I mean he has the cars and drives them so his opinion is pretty valid.
The r32 will never go out of style
The dude geeking on cup holders😂😂 i love it lol
32, 33 & 34’s are sick looking cars.
He asked what his favourite gtr was then asked why it was the r34
The R34 is just iconic
I love em but R33’s and R32’s also have a place in my heart.. like deciding which of your children is the best
Bravo to this man, living his dream 👏
Right!!!!!
It’s a timeless car, the designers that made that car made a msterpiece
“What’s your favorite gtr and why is it the r34” bro just answered his own question 😂
I think the r33 is so underrated a lot of people skip over it
Car peoples "It has cupholders!" is the equivalent of ladies "It has pockets!" I love it.
That color is so gorgeous
"Has no rattle and shake unlike any other japanese cars..."
Mitsubishi & Subaru:
R33 will always be king! 🤴🏽
They have the best front ends design.
That color is gorgeous
That’s the dream for me midnight purple built up from the bottom and just make it look clean as hell that is a full presentation of what I envision bro did a great job on it
It looks like a Nismo Z tune which is my favourite spec
That color is amazing
Definitely the best design by far
Never thought I would love a car like this.
The R34 is a Beast
As a person who loves the R32 the most, I completely agree.
I love how ultimately the choice is down to whether the car has cupholders or not.
I used to hate on 34 GTRs back in 2014 when i had an evo, said they were overhyped.. (was probably a tad jelly tbh). Then i saw one on the road, and i just loved the way it looked, the thing has awesome road presence. Especially in Bayside blue. Then i bought a white one in 2016 when they were still cheap, still have it to this day. Painted it pearlescent black, built the motor, still refreshing the old parts here and there. Longest car i have ever owned. Love it. Also made heaps of cool friends thanks to the car.
Man 2 weeks back i seen a nissan stagea amazing car the sound was amazing
The R34 is not the Mona Lisa, it is every DaVinci masterpiece combined (including the ones he had in secret)
The nismo R34 definitely looks the most aggressive, and that particular spec is just perfection.
One of my dream cars. ❤
The 32 is my favorite but you can't deny the 34 is a masterpiece
dude really asked him a question and answered it while asking another question💀
34 really does look the best so sleek but it’s filled out all the right spots so it’s not small blocky but not a Lego just really good straight sharp lines
I agree the best era of this car
Porsche driver get the Ladys, but you get the cupholders 😂
R34 man that thing just looks the best out of all of them
The jdm hype knows no bounds.
This guy ask him a question and answered the question in the second question…
If you just like the looks, a early 90s legend is pretty close just without the power stock
Honestly if they made the new gtr similar to this body style but with all the new gadgets and engine components to get the insane power the new ones get then it’d be the best of both worlds.
It’s a legend for sure
