In Revelation 6:7-8, both the NIV and King James translate chloros as “pale.” Jesus reveals that the meaning is “pale green” for the Revelation prophecies to be understood.
Revelation 6:7 8 (NIV) 7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
Revelation 6:7 8 (KJV) 7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
What is the word in the original Greek text giving the color of the fourth horse in Revelation 6:8?
The original Greek in Revelation 6:8 is “chloros”, χλωρός, chlōros
    PALE GREEN = CHLOROS
    χλωρός, chlōros
This is where the word chlorophyll comes from---the green color of plants.
    χλωρός, chlōros definition
    Green, light green, pale
The name "chlorite" is from the Greek "chloros" (χλωρός), meaning "green", in reference to its color.
    Revelation 6:7-8 (NLT)
7 When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living being say, “Come!” 8 I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.
