Welldone dear. This is quite detailed. God bless you. Does the Eligibility Letter cover you for proficiency in English.
Thank you for watching. The importance of the eligibility letter is to tell your school/the Polish embassy that the certificate/degree you have currently in your country also qualifies you for admission in Poland (e.g BSc in Nigeria qualifies you for MSc admission in Nigeria and also in Poland). The letter is free and you need to confirm if your school or the embassy needs it, if you're not sure just request for it. It is better to have more than the required documents than not having what's needed.
Note: the letter doesn't cover for your English language proficiency. If you need that, tell them at the ministry of Education that you need the letter, they should be able to give you.

Good day
I read through the requirements needed for Legalisation for the Belgium embassy and I saw that the official transcript is needed for Authentication then legalisation.
However, my university protocol says that they don't give out the official transcripts to students by hand but they send it to the foreign school that is in need of it and that I only have access to student copy.
How do I go about this?
Also, my school certificate is not ready yet but I have my statement of result. Can this suffice too?

I sent someone to do for me and the only thing I can see so far is ONLY SIGNATURE AND DATE- No stamp no seal.

I didn't notarize any of my documents
But I do have 1/2 questions
The first is this So for the foreign affairs , we would need 1 original and 2 photocopies right ? ( because you said 1st photocopy will be the one from the Ministry of Education and have just the signature at the front, then the 2nd photocopy will be the front and back of the certificate with the Ministry of Education stamp behind it, please Confirm, once again thank you for saving our time by explaining this 😭

I had issue trying to book appointment for Austria Verification and Legalization.The available slot date opened and the form page as well.After imputing all my information I received a notification notice that my email address is invalid.I tried several times and was still getting same notification.I had to change to every other email accounts I am using still getting the same invalid email.

I don't know if Hungary needs an authenticated document..Confirm with the embassy what their requirement is

MOE doesn't accept laminated copies. If there's a way you can remove it without damaging the cert, if not go with it like that MAYBE there will be a way around it.
Can you just authenticate photocopies or you must notarize them first? I heard from somewhere that you have to notarize your documents photocopies before you take it to the ministry of education

So from my own understanding to get the eligibility certificate you need to authenticate your documents only then you can now use your waec and BSc authenticated documents to request for eligibility certificate from still the ministry of education….
And must I go to Abuja ministry of education ? Can’t I just do the authentication and eligibility from any ministry of education in Nigeria?

The eligibility letter is to inform the embassy/your school that the degree you hold grants you admission for the next level of education e.g your BSc qualifies you for MSc in Nigeria and likewise in Poland.

MOE will authenticate original copies, photocopy has to be submitted also. I mentioned where the photocopy comes in the video

Hello Dara, very informative video i must say. I want to ask if this information is still current? Cz i learnt alot has changed now. I even heard that MOE now requires for your sch to send them the transcript directly or write a letter to them.. infact ehhh 🤦🏼♀️ please can you corroborate this?
Thank you for watching. This information was at September 2023. Some things could have changed. If you have the original copy of your transcript, I don't think that should be an issue. I know some school doesn't give their students the official transcript so it has to be sent directly to MOE but then this is Nigeria. You can also check MOE website to confirm any changes because I think there's an increase in the fees for authentication.
Please in other to get the eligibility letter l, do I need to provide them with the information of the country I am applying to for an admission?
Yes. when you get to MOE, they will let you know what they need

(1) My waec certificate carries just my first name and surname i.e Efeoghene ogheneobukome. And my university degree carries my first, middle and last name i.e Efeoghene divine ogheneobukome.
Will i need to get an affidavit for addition of name and if yes, will i need to upload this affidavit document to the list of documents i intend to authenticate at the ministry of education?
Thanks for watching. You should get an affidavit to support that. You may not be able to upload the affidavit on MOE website but take it along with you just in case they ask for it (if they don't ask for it, that's okay) but it's better to be well prepared when it comes to Nigeria officials

Please do they authenticate birth certificate given by a local government in foriengn affairs or only the original one.... Also i heard you have to have an international passport to legalize your document in abuja... And for the transript my school only needs one page can i remove the part that is not needed in the transcript and authenticate only the one needed?
I only know of birth certificate given by NPC and you only need any valid means of ID. Authenticate your entire transcript

Please i would love to ask, I did my primary/secondary school in Nigeria and my university in Kenya, so what do i do concerning the authentication, do i authenticate my waec in Nigeria and my Bsc in Kenya
Since it is your BSc that qualifies you for an MSc admission, you need to authenticate your BSc certificate and transcript in Kenya.

Official transcript. You can authenticate NECO certificate if that is what you used to gain admission.

Please, how did you make the correction from FSLC to WAEC. I was sure I selected BSc, WAEC and transcripts when filling the form but suprisingly after payment I saw that NECO was part of the documents to upload and no space for BSc. Meaning, I cannot upload BSc. But I am able to upload waec and transcript

I mean The date of birth of my Waece Certificate is different from on my international passport, that's why I prepare Authenticating the Waec as it is in the ministry of education then when I go to the ministry of foreign Affairs then require them to Authenticate my Birth certificate along with Affidavit,

Yes, you can authenticate the affidavit at the ministry of foreign affairs.
I also had to authenticate my birth certificate alongside an affidavit (correction of name on birth certificate).
So, yes you can authenticate your birth certificate alongside the affidavit you made.

The ministry doesn't follow the date on your appointment slip. Print out the slip with whatever date is available, then proceed to the 8th floor at the ministry of education to get a number from the security men there. They will follow the number given to you and not the date on your appointment slip.
Note, you have to be there early as they only attend to 50 people per day. What's important is that the documents you want to authenticate should reflect on your appointment slip. I hope this helps

The lamination has to be removed. I don't know how you will do that so as not to get the document damaged

Yes. It's easier if the person has the same surname as yours. You'll need to write a letter of authority granting the person the right to authenticate your documents for you. You'll need to give the person your means of ID (photocopy should suffice for this) and the person's means of ID
