Thanks for the video. Really. I taught my daughter to keep polyester away from fire. Now she understands why and I need to get more silk clothes for her. lol.
I inherited a full bolt of cloth from the 40s and this was the only way I could figure out what it was. Thank you very much
Thank you for teaching me how to differentiate between man made and natural fibers. Thank you for the knowledge you shared❤❤❤
Best informative succinct. Thank you.
I'm both a writer and a crocheter and I thank you.

Straightforward, informative video. Nice
Very well done. Excellent video, thank you so much
Very impressed with the silk and surprisingly the polyester as I thought it would take a lot less time in the flame to ignite!
That's was great!! Thanks for that video

What about Blends (Cotton + Polyester) common these days?
Thank you so much 👍😊

Well done! I bought a whole lot of '100% cotton' vests.
Somehow they were making me itchy, so I used your video to try and ascertain
whether they were indeed 100%.cotton.
My only question now is how would I know if it is cotton or bamboo viscose?? Please help! Thank you!
Same like we were doing in college laboratory

Една от съставките на цимента да не би да са изгорени тъкани от определени растения?
Silk is the best
But not the most comfortable...
What about latex for latex cloth?
latex should be polyester, maybe plus elastan. so it would just melt the same.
doesnt really help if you try to deternine how much % of this or that a fabric might have. I got a mysterious fabric thats 100% polyester that I cant find in any store anymore. I have no idea if it has a name so its impossible to reorder. Shop owner told me to do a burning test but ... what for? its polyester. What else can you learn?
So if you're gonna set yourself on fire, just don't wear polyester 😬
You shouldn’t be wearing those gloves
