Viva Malta🙃
Well Alex I live in England and I TRY to stick to my food shopping list and always add up (on my paper list) as I go round the shop, yes things are increasing in price so just buy something else, I’m spending very little more than I was 12 months ago. Have a good day and maybe see you again next year 😎☕️
Thanks for sharing this dear ❤️
@@AlexinMalta well Alex I’ve been a widow for 47 years so have learnt to be careful and economical, I used to work on a supermarket till and so many people just ‘pick up’ regardless of the cost. Have a good day ☕️
I love your Videos Alex and especially love the way you try to cover so many diverse and important topics. One jarring thing in this video was when you exclaimed “Ostia” . I was born in Malta 74 years ago and lived there until my early twenties. That used to be a very BAD swear word because it referred to the consecrated host used during mass and which is kept in the tabernacle. I am not sure if this swear word still has the very negative connotations in this day and age but I would suggest you don’t use it yourself especially because you’re such a nice person.
Thank you for this :) its beeing used in Malta all the time, and just as a word itself it doesnt have a negative meaning :)
Alex - Thanks for all the great videos. This is part question and part idea for video - We are visiting over Christmas (21st Dec - 3rd Jan) staying in Valletta. Wanting to hire a car and knowing we won't be able to park easily near our hotel. Google Maps seems to show parking around the Independence Ground but is it Free? And is it easy to find a parking place? If we are parking for multiple days I'm wondering how expensive it is? We could then walk to our hotel in about 15 minutes so hoping this is an option.
Hey hey. You can park in several places around Valletta but it will be always on a walking distance from yout Hotel, and most of the parkings are free
Many thanks Alex! @@AlexinMalta
Can you explain mini markets? I was suprised with prices. I paid 8 euros for 1 liter orange juice and 0.5l of pina colada juice .1 protein Zott drink is 3 euros..that is twice the price than here in Croatia
Check my latest short video :)
10 cents for food and 300 for taxes well said gentleman 🎩🎩👍👍👌
🤣🤣
Good job
Thanks
Hi Alex how are you ?, please share with us the real/unhidden Malta, You are always filming in Saint Julian or Spinola bay and you have never been to Buggiba, Hamrun, or Marsa for instance to interview people living there.
Great idea, will definitely do that
4:13 She is amazing, I will move to Malta, and walk the street looking for her.
Please make a video on the recently opened Mercury Tower shopping mall
Im posting a Short of it tomorrow
Very nice I like your video from Egypt Cairo but I am Pakistani

Hi Alex, found your video useful as I am also looking opportunity in EU.
Can u help me to confirm if there any university called UCB United Campus of Malta???? For an offer from here. But no information over Google.
Hi I saw your video but I noticed that you only interviewed rich foreigners what about the Maltese workers who earn under a $1000 and there are a lot
They might have been working or staying at home at that time when i was filming
i like this😊
Thank you

Alx I love your vidios and I am motivated for applying for job in malta ..but, still I didn't get job offer letter and real agency
NB I studied MBA and PhD in management studies in india an currently I am working ethiopia..I have 10 years expriance as the driver, researcher, leader, team Coordinator...and so on I need any related job in malta.
I’m 50% maltese and I understand kinda what there saying in maltese!
Nice :)
I've got a job offer in Malta with a paid for shared apartment included...but the salary is around 1100 euros a month. I was wondering if that's enough for food and going out. My impression after this video is that you'll probably be left with nothing after doing groceries and a bit of outside entertainment
Alex, love your videos... do Maltese live rent free?
No, they all buy properties and subrent them to us, the barranyiin
If they own yes they live rent free
Alex rizzing up the men in the boat 😂
You guys spend less per month than me in Germany, and our tax rate goes up to 42% looool, time to go to Malta
Wuhuuuu :)
WELCOME TO COSMOPOLITAN BEAUTIFUL MALTA 🇪🇺 🌏 😊.
A point of interest, I stand corrected, is that "cost of living" (🍸🍾 🍻 🕺not included 😊) in Malta seems to have plateaued this last year.
Alex, I'm wandering if there's any Maltese still living in Malta - will the last one leaving turn the lights off 😂 🤣 😂. It was nice to see young Elif 🇹🇷 looking well and happy, Malta must agree with her 🤗 😊.
As always : INTERESTING TOPIC 🤔.
THANKS Alex🚶€€ 🎤🎥👏.
Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™
Thanks John ❤️
I'm glad I hear people saying so. Coz I felt I was careful, yet I spent 800€, if i deprived myself of everything, 400€-500€! 😢
So I'm glad it s not just me 😅😅😅😅😅 i was like"i have no discipline.. But no... 😮😢
I wish i could have a discipline 🤣 thanks for sharing your feedback 🫶🏼
Love from india 🇮🇳
❤️❤️❤️
Wow your in Spinola San Giljan 😊
Yes
Dropped the car, using the public transport. Rent increased from 800 to 1200 for a one BR.
So basically I am working to pay my rent. Is this life or just survival?
Survival
What are in Malta do you live? That price is way too expensive!
@@jovsitalo birkirkara. Those are the rent prices in the central area and am not willing to live in Northern Malta since I work in Valletta
Malta and Italy both are not expensive always.
But another European countries are so expensive. Like UK and Germany

85 percent of the Maltese People are Home 🏡 Ownership 🇲🇹🇪🇺
I guess
Really sad. They all spend per month more then middle class person earn in Malta. I'm living UK and i spend less including rent and bills per month then most of this people in video(I'm not living in shared apartments and I'm not really struggling to keep my expenses low)
Thanks for sharing
@@AlexinMaltaP.S - I like your videos. I just was shocked to hear people are spending 1000e just for food in country where minimum salary for some hotel cleaning stuff is like what 780e per month 😢
Maltese don't pay rent?
Those that they rent a flat they pay, those that live with their family no
Actual some Maltese people do pay rent, some pay a pepper corn rent
500-600€ including flat payment. Self control 👍
Woooow!! I wish i could have spend that much 🤣
3000 💶😮
Some even more
Please brother reply please
Very expensive! More then last year!
Every year it goes higher up
Why don't i find you around doing interviews, when i go out in Malta! 🫣😩
Tuesday, Valletta :)
