I know these types of installs are probably boring to the more advanced installers but they’re great for the typical DIY guys like me. No fancy and expensive DSP or floating screen stuff, just a straightforward, relatively inexpensive setup to improve the sound on an older vehicle which more of us are driving. I have the RF P-300 in several of my cars and they’re great, especially given the size and cost. They don’t suck up storage space and can be easily removed if you need those extra inches.
Do not change the intro guys! It’s classic! I love dogs but yeah, if you’re going to take your car in for work like this come on the owner should have cleaned it before hand. Love the videos please keep them coming.
I just installed these same Kenwood speakers in my 2008 tundra and it wasn’t as simple as it looked. The 6x9 would hit the window track I had to use the extra spacer they include along with the adapter. Then grind down the edge of speaker hole on the inside door panel exactly where you said you want the speaker butted up so all the sound comes through. I’m taking the door apart again tomorrow to make sure I haven’t damaged the speakers. They sound really good though compared to stock.
Frankly, y’all should charge for the cleaning, since it had to be done before starting on the actual install. My wife and I travel with our three dogs and we cleaned the heck out of our Tacoma before y’all installed our audio system.
Good morning guys. Have you ever experimented with using high-end RCA cables (Audio quest etc.) in your installs to see if they make a difference sonically?
Hey Dean and Fernando, hey I follow you guys regularly and I have a question that I hope you can possibly help me with. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the non-premium factory radio and I am using a AC LC2i. So when I open the doors of the truck the lc2i and my amp turn on or power up. I am using the GTO on the lc2. Have any suggestions. I would greatly appreciate
how did you guys change out the truck usb, have a tacoma that same year and want to do the switch and basically want the same headunit if wasnt so expensive but i have another option
Anybody has a suggestion on replacing the front speakers on a 06 Lexus Ls430 with Mark Levinson ? OEM's are $150 per speaker. a little pricy in my opinion
I hate that pets have now become companions in every aspect of life. Grocery shopping, dining, going to the doctor/dentist, etc. All because a certain type of person, thanks to the internet, chats, social media, can’t integrate into the world anymore. So they need a four legged ‘friend’ to endure their adventures in reality without judgment or consequences. Now I have to wipe hair off restaurant seats and grocery carts. And if this upsets you, you’re likely the problem. I’ll cry myself to sleep apologizing.
I know you two know what youre doing, but its always nerve racking to see you snap off huge parts of the interior. Worse than that, are the door panels. Makes me anxious. I know it will go back perfectly, but OUCH!!

Where can I find the brackets for the rear door?
How much will this install cost on 21 Toyota Highlander with a 4 channel amp
Question, how much would a setup like this cost installed?

@Dean @Fernando
Why no subwoofer install videos on Tacoma's?
And no, I don't mean those pre-fab box videos everyone has seen

No the mark levinson system is pretty good and prob would t sound as good as a aftermarket system unless you will to spend some big money
@@mildaudiophile3879Well said.
it should come with a hell of a charge. That’s terrible that they would send it to you like that.

Jesus Christ. Don’t people have a degree of shame to bring their car absolutely filthy disgusting like that?
