Helen you are getting to be an expert on finishing bi loved your channel so much that I went back to your first video and watched them almost to the end. You are as good as Vonna P. You are also a trooper with your broken finger. I fell and broke three fingers and had to have surgery on two. Luckily it was on my left hand. I told the hand therapy to get my fingers working to do my crafts and they succeeded. Hello from Florida during the hurricane. We are safe. I hope your husband’s family in Florida are okay. Connie
I'm glad you're ok after the hurricane! It was a big one! It's actually my parents who winter in Florida. They heard from friends that things are ok there.

Back to school is always a hectic time. I’m not an active participant anymore since my children are adults but I do remember trying to get them back into a routine. Beautiful finishes as always! I’m glad to hear your son is enjoying his start in high school. Math was not my thing until I began teaching it to my third graders. I tried to make it fun and was totally sympathetic to those kids that that came to me with a confused look on their face. I was that student.

Hi Helen, catching up on your videos on a rainy day here and working on some of my own finishes too. I realize I'm a couple weeks behind here, but wow, can't believe your son is a freshman in high school...I have been watching your videos since he was in elementary school and remember all your teacher Christmas gifts that you stitched along the way. I do remember high school flying by, such a busy time but all great memories...enjoy it! Great finishes and all that you showed, thank you! Now on to your fall unboxing video....:)

High school is definitely an adventure. My 3rd son is a junior. He's an AP kid too. He is like a walking encyclopedia although he has no experience using one LOL. Its fun to watch them transition into independent young adults but a little rough on Mama's heart. Best of luck to both of you. I cannot wait to be a part of your bat sal. Hi Helen! Wow! You were FFO-ing with a vengeance! 😂. They all look great. I love your sister's You Are My Sunshine piece😊. Here's the thing about kids getting older: once they hit second grade, it's like an oil slick. It zooms by sooo fast! The days are long but the years fly by. Wait until you see how fast your son will be done with high school! From their perspective, time is dragging on eternally slow, but for parents, it's amazing how quickly time passes. Sounds like you've got a lot of great things coming up for us, and some fun fall stitching for yourself! Have a great week! 3
