I would actually love to have a smiling reborn with visible teeth. But I have not even tried to paint a simpler doll yet. This doll is on a whole new level. You did a fabulous job. You asked for our opinions? Well, I might have gone just a bit lighter on the lips and cheeks, but what do I know. Plus, it might just be the lighting. All in all I would give you an A+. I love his gorgeous smile and you nailed it. I think that must be the most difficult challenge to paint. Aw, you dressed him so cute, too.

You also did great on the skin tone. I was interested in how you did that, because I want to do one of mixed ethnicity when I finally do start painting. I've been watching painting tutorials, but I will also have to watch some on eye installation. Sorry you had a difficult time. I hope my arthritis doesn't make it too difficult.
This was the first kit I had issues with the installing the eyes. The eye shape on this kit is too slanted. I recommend starting out with a sleeping baby kit before trying an open eyed doll. I will do some videos on painting and adding the eyes. 🥰❤️

Yes his eyes are too light and a little crooked but he is painted way cute! Soft brown eyes would be really cute.

I agree ive seen some artist sell their first second 3rd reborns for 500 plus like bro u dnt bet to sell ur oractive art u gotta take a loss on the first few some of these i wldnt take for free they terrify me.
