"Nothin' But A Good Time" by Poison is a classic hair metal song that has become sort of a fan favorite. Perhaps it is because of the fun and catchy main riff that cleverly uses triads voiced high up on the fretboard or maybe it is because C.C. Deville displays almost his entire bag of tricks in the solo. Within the solo he plays fast scale sequences, legato phrases, warp speed blues licks, whammy bar dives, fast rockabilly inspired licks and more. Yet, he makes it all sound musical and exciting which makes the solo an great study for those players trying to tastefully incorporate fast playing into their style. So I hope you have fun learning this classic pop rock tune, I have to admit it is kinda hard not to be smiling while playing it. Good luck!! :D

@@gretschbasher CC said something about how he can't really play guitar. When he was a big guitar hero, guys like Slash and EVH copy cats were all over the place, so I can see why he felt that way, but I've always thought he is great. He's the reason I started playing rock guitar.

Your tone is in unbelievable, I'd really like to know what kind of amp you play out of, pretty much your set up for these great lessons that you do...

One suggestion if I may: and btw I play drums bass and guitar, so dont be fooled by my profile pic:
For those of us who are not beginners, I'd appreciate it if you would say chord names instead of just "2nd fret A string etc..." Makes it easier to get the sequences in my head. You are a monster player dude - thanks for sharing.
