If it was truly thinking with logic and a brain, then she wouldn’t be with her fiancé. If she could cheat on her ex with mark, what will stop her from doing it again? For the OP trying to decide between Mark and Gabe - to me she sounds young. I think she's held onto Mark because he's added a fanciful, romantic element to her life when things have been dry or boring with her current boyfriend. She's been able to think to herself, "But remember the feelings with that one that got away?" There are always reasons why that "one" got away. If she wanted Mark in her life, she'd move things to be with him. The same goes for Mark - if he truly wanted her, he'd move things to be with her. But she never fully committed to stepping into that risk. Which again to me suggests the OP lacks some maturity. She hasn't learned to like the parts of a romance that are plain, simple, humble, and even boring. Whoever she picks, eventually she'll reach a day where she's bored and the bloom is off the rose, and she'll think she made the wrong choice. But lasting love goes through seasons. Omg that's the wisest thing I've read in these comments so far. I have a similar situation to that you spoke of and I kind of get it and resonated with your explanation. One guy in my life provides emotional fulfillment and passion, but feels immature to be my life partner. The other, provides stability, marriage and mature love. I'm not with any of them btw. With Gabe I think she loves him but isn’t IN love with him. When I was thinking about the situation and putting myself in Gabe’s shoes I wouldn’t feel great knowing that my fiancé isn’t in love with me but a different person. If it was truly thinking with logic and a brain, then she wouldn’t be with her fiancé. If she could cheat on her ex with mark, what will stop her from doing it again? It’s not like she cheated with a random person she’ll never see again, but cheated with a certain guy and that same guy is still the one she likes and keeps contact with. Eventually she will hit a limit and if they ever meet up in person again- she may take that chance again to cheat. Thus hurting everyone. For the OP trying to decide between Mark and Gabe - to me she sounds young. I think she's held onto Mark because he's added a fanciful, romantic element to her life when things have been dry or boring with her current boyfriend. She's been able to think to herself, "But remember the feelings with that one that got away?" There are always reasons why that "one" got away. If she wanted Mark in her life, she'd move things to be with him. The same goes for Mark - if he truly wanted her, he'd move things to be with her. But she never fully committed to stepping into that risk. Which again to me suggests the OP lacks some maturity. She hasn't learned to like the parts of a romance that are plain, simple, humble, and even boring.
Whoever she picks, eventually she'll reach a day where she's bored and the bloom is off the rose, and she'll think she made the wrong choice. But lasting love goes through seasons. She needs to look inward and figure out what kind of love calls to her. There's nothing wrong with building a life that looks different from other people's lives. I just think it's best not to lie to one's self.

My personal opinion about A, Mark, and Gabe. I think she should chose Mark, because the way she is describing her feelings for him it is clear that she is IN love with him. With Gabe I think she loves him but isn’t IN love with him. When I was thinking about the situation and putting myself in Gabe’s shoes I wouldn’t feel great knowing that my fiancé isn’t in love with me but a different person. I think you need to follow your heart on this one because it may hurt Gabe if he were to find out and you in the long run.
