- To Create Rolling End Credits in Premiere Pro CC 2022, first add lines of text to your sequence via the text tool. Next, make sure you are working in the graphics / essential graphics work space. Type your text / credits onto a single essential graphics item - ensure that is all on a single layer.
Now, click outside the program panel and you will see an option called ROLL. Click the roll checkmark and your credits will now roll like they do in movies (you will see a scroll bar on the right side). You can increase and decrease the speed of the roll by changing the length of the graphic item on the timeline.

I don't see roll checkbox either
this is crazy that Adobe doesnt have this as a template!
Thanks for sharing this man, this is exactly that I wanted
Simple yet useful! Thank you so much for this tutorial! You should get more likes than 38!
Glad you liked it!
Video Starts - "Here's what we've got so far..." LOL
Thanks! I don't understand why this doesn't have as many likes as it does views!
my pleasure!
thanks for posting!!
Hell ya :)
I can't find the roll box in the 2023 update
... How'd you get that variety of text size to begin with?
Doesn't seem to work in the latest version.
Yikes, I will test that out right now. I may have to make a new video on this. Gah.
Thanks! I was literally on Premiere support for TWO HOURS for them trying to figure this out. Don’t know what is going on there.
But now my end credit logos dropped out from legacy titles. Do you have a tutorial on that? @curtis Pyke
I got you covered :). Whatever you wanna learn, I'll show ;)
@@curtispyketech Actually - now I put my end credits back on Rolling. But I wanted to put a smaller, non-rolling Out-Takes jokes window / box on the side of the credits. So first I tried Cutting the Out-takes together overlayed over the credits sequence, and resizing each cut, but they don't match perfectly in size or position. Or should I cut them separately, export them, and put them in a box next to the rolling credits? Thanks!
nothing from notepad will import, copy or paste, drag or drop, etc. nothing works... would i have to type ALL the credits over again in the box? i tried to do that to and it will not type
How do I do this at the end of an already edited video?
can someone help me. If I make rolling credits. I copy from a word file and paste it into premiere pro. Then when I export the video. Then the credits are just frozen they don't run. I've tried everything what am I doing wrong. Choosing different video formats doesn't help either.
Ever given scrollx a shot? Worth checking out.
How to end freme still?
hello can you decrease speed without making it longer?
ehh, can't, or you can cut it
I'm on adobe 2022, I do as you told, everything is good for me until the export phase, it becomes strangely empty (black screen). How can I resolve it ?
The same thing happened to me. I tried to export it again, and it only showed part of the credits on a still screen. It works great in the production screen. Please someone help us understand if there is something we are missing.
Sadly...... I don't see the Roll checkbox ;-( Using Premiere Pro 2022
Until you click OUTSIDE THE Frame as at 0:44 seconds and then it appears. It's a stupid way of designing it.
@@Chardhousemedia this still doesn't work for me. I after the align and transform box, it just says the text. I've clicked outside, and on the box and around and roll doesn't come up. It used to but now it's not there.
I was having the same issue just now. I had to switch from the text box cursor to the selector cursor. That might help.
@@atombb98 That did it Adam, thanks!
@@atombb98 I don't find a possibility to get to the selctor cursor :( How did you do it? Thanks so much..
to be honest it is 100 seconds
I think you are skipping like 10 steps for doing this
