Some Black women have such a hard time accepting love, its quite sad. It made be a bit sad as a fan when they tried to express to her the love she receives from people she reverted to her family as if her fans truly do not love her. I don't think she ever realized how small of a group the people who tried to tear her down were.
Never heard this interview! When she first came on, I thought it was someone else because she sounds so different here! Which is usual...people's phone voice sounds so much different but I honestly thought it was someone pretending to be her lol! Her "darling" and that signature cackle assured me it was her!! She's really calm. This was a great interview for her...just a chill energy. OH MY GOSH...she was considering a biopic?!?!? She and Tyler were having meetings for her BIOPIC...(screams)....WE MISSED THIS! A bio about her life with her DIRECT input! Plus, it would've been while she was here to see it. (sigh). I always wondered if she ever had the thought to do a bio. Now I have my answer! I am curious how far she and Tyler got into planning and whatnot and what role he would've had to make it come to fruition...
.....HA! Maybe just directing it! Or producing it. Or just piecing it altogether. Lol! I would pray that if anything, he would've allowed someone else to write it versus him writing and directing. I'm just fascinated that she was interested in a biopic! Because it puzzled me that one wasn't done sooner. Or even in the works while she was still alive. For some reason, I felt she didn't want to do a film about her life because it was never talked about.
@@Qu33n people have been whispering about a Whitney biopic on fan sites for years but it was too early for one while she was alive. People forget Whitney was only 48. Lol
@@JustTheLonelyTalk Well that's the thing. Not just fan whispers but Whitney herself was considering. I would bet most Whitney fans wanted a bio. The idea coming from her is what i never knew about. 48 is not young to have a bio. Especially considering that she was 20+ years in the business then...a bio when she was in her 40s is very warranted. Would've been.
@@Qu33n yeah amd no a biopic at that point wouldnt have made much sense given where her life was at the time. That's if she wanted a triumphant ending in the vein of What's Love Got To Do With It.
@@JustTheLonelyTalk mmmm. Interesting. But 2009 was a very hopeful time for her. (Looking on the outside). And mid to late 00s were seemingly a period when she was beginning to confront a lot of her pain. If this was around the time she befriended Tyler, then it's possible wanting to start the beginning phases of a bio could've been cathartic. I also think she could've had a pretty positive outcome for a bio in the vein of Tina's. Given what she was doing to better herself at the time. (a long response)
@greg woolliscroft she actually “sounds” very clear headed, energized, and bright here. Her speaking voice during her late years was obviously heavier and damaged from the smoking, but this is pretty good for that time period. There were some Sparkle interviews, and public appearances (BET Honors for Luther Vandross) were Whitney’s voice just was not only tired but it was dare I say shot. Her fragility in her voice in later years is no secret, but this interview is actually a good one for that time period. It’s sounds reminiscent of her speaking voice during the Oprah 2009 interview, and Id imagine vocally she’d be on par with her in studio performance of I Didn’t Know My Own Strength. I agree with @JADE
I'm sorry but bottom line she knew her daughter wasn't a great singer. She knew allot of people would compare her daughter to her and she couldn't stand in that light.
She sounds like Dionne here. She had a great sense of humour that’s so funny
Whitney was so down to earth & chilled.RIP💔
I miss my girl. This is so fresh i never heard this interview.
me too ❤️
I don’t think ppl realize these interviews were 5am sometimes in the morning….lol
Whitney said "What I said Is what I said!"
Miss Whitney, truly was and is the real deal. Great interview never heard it before, nice to hear.

I love Whitney
We missed Whitney Houston
Too bad she didn't have the chance to tell her story herself....
Wow Whitney said. “I SAID WHAT I SAID”. Nene stole that line from her lol 😂
Thank God Tyler never got his hand on a Whitney biopic. Especially if he was to be involved in the writing process. 😂

It’s pictures of her and him! He tried to be shady. Whitney stayed professional 🙏🏽
She definitely sounds similar to Dionne
No tf she didn't, Dionne sounded like a damn Virginia slim.
That does not sound like Whitney at all.
Her voice sounds so old and tired...so sad....
She's a44 year old woman ur a hater and jealous
she sounded great!
