probably because the Press (like a blender but with bigger teeth) the Mall kiosk used was stronger than the blender at their house. Bones would probably kill the blender.

Shake is a very good cook in the show, yet doesnt remove the bones when blending chicken wings.

I think Shake's cooking skills rely on "Roger Rabbit" logic.
Meaning he can ONLY cook when it is funny.
Usually he cooks to torment Meatwad (like dangling food in his face and then eating it in front of him) OR that time he cooked just to tease Carl when Carl was on house arrest.
Other times, I think he would be as competent as a 4 year old in terms of cooking,
which is why Frylock does most of the cooking
