My husband was a systems programmer and he used to say that he was paid the big bucks because he would "RTRFM" - which means "Read The Right Flipping Manual" (he didn't say "Flipping" LOL) so I always read my manuals.
@@christophernejman i’m so sorry if I confused you. I do not have a brother embroidery machine. I have the Janome 9000. Thank you so much for responding.
@@ritahanderahan9841 His video was about the Brother machine. I was a bit confused by your comment as well that I had to watch his video again to see if he showed a Janome that I may have missed in the video.
How do you remove the foot? Can you oil the foot mechanism without removing it? Would graphite lubricant work? Wish I was still in Tampa to take classes with you.

I have that machine. Have sought virtual training since theres none available. Thanks for the tips.
Also, underneath the bobbin case, there is a wick that 0:15 needs to be oiled. I do this with my Janome 9000 every time I sell.
Hmmm,, which model Brother embroidery machine do you own that has a wick and requires oiling in the bobbin case area?

I would have thought that it was time to change the needle, that it became dull after sewing through many layers of fabric...

You remove it with a screwdriver.

I thought you weren’t supposed to mix oil and grease.
