    Great images. I don’t usually use a tripod for macro, but I might try it more now

    I love that last image, I don't tend to take my heavy tripod with me but I think it is time I did. Thanks for another terrific video.

      I love it too! Tripod is a bind, but sometimes it's necessary. This location is very littel walking.

    Hi Paul well that was a lovely little video I enjoyed it . I've never done any macro photography before but I've seen quite a few videos on it since all this virus lock down stuff and its something I may look at in the future. I personally would like to see more on the subject from you. Until next time take care and stay safe.

      Had one years ago. It's decent, but you have get closer and the focus operation is different. I'd say it's a good starter lens for macro. It's sharp.

    Another excellent video. Would you have used a ring flash in any of those photo's?

    • @PaulMiguelPhotography
      @PaulMiguelPhotography  Před 4 lety

      Personally no, I just try to use natural light. But maybe a slight touch of flash, or even better LED.

    'not dresses for this', couple days ago on a general walk about i saw some cormorants on a lake island, one was just out of view, i ended up wading into the lake waist deep in a dress and heels to get the shot, yep it was pretty muddy but i was able to clean off a bit further down

    On the first flower (orchids). Would it trick a good bokeh, if you bring Xmas tree light chain, and lay it around the back of the orchids? 🤔

    This is a good lense but i find it hard to get everything in focus, is that the way the lense is supposed to be? seems to only get the one in focus.

      @PaulMiguelPhotography  Před 3 lety +1

      If you are very close, the depth of field is very small, so yes it can be like that. Sometimes it's best to back away a little bit.
